Kerry Fanson

(She/Her)

Kerry Fanson is the head of the Wildlife Conservation and Reproductive Endocrinology Lab (WiCRE) at La Trobe university.

Driven by her fascination with how hormones shape animal behaviour and fitness, she uses non‑invasive tools to investigate hormone dynamics. She is particularly interested in the complex interplay between stress and reproduction, and understanding how glucocorticoids mediate this interaction.

Kerry aims to translate her findings into meaningful outcomes for the conservation and care of threatened and endangered species.
