I am a professor of archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology, Polish Academy of Sciences. I conduct research on the Neolithic (settlements, funerary rituals, populations, material culture) of Europe and Northeastern Africa. I am the author and coauthor of numerous articles and books on the Neolithic of north-central Europe and northeast Africa.
