In my experience, Maps is an incredibly useful and reliable navigation tool that has helped me navigate my way through countless cities and towns. However, the app's battery drain and privacy concerns can be a downside for some users. Overall, I highly recommend Maps to anyone looking for a reliable navigation tool, Maps is a free of cost and extremely easy to use software that you can use to find your location on map using GPS, instantly search a destination and the routes leading to it, or just to survey an area. It provides different type of map layer like satellite, terrain or traditional simplified map, from which you can choose the one you like. Maps roll out updates on regular basis to include new features like live traffic updates or showing public places like Malls, Gas Station, ATMs, Hotels, Cafes, hospitals etc at a location. Its navigation feature has became an integral part of modern driving an traveling, which gives you a highly accurate estimated time of your journey, finds you the best route and guides you with voice alerts to your destination along the route.Also it can give you a time estimate for multiple modes of travel like by foot, cycle, bus or car for the same destination.

I try to review most places I visit, so it can help others. Along with the reviews I try to attach photos and videos as well, to make sure that I give the proof of my review and it is believable and genuine. However, in most of my reviews where I have added photos and videos they do not get uploaded and shows a message your upload is pending. At the time of posting the review it doesn’t show this message but when I look back at my review I come to know that the photos are not visible and showing this message. Sometimes, when I edit the review and just add the caption to the photo it resolve this issue. But if I put the caption while posting the review initially, it doesn’t get resolved. Why do you want me to rework the review twice. Can’t it get uploaded the first time. Please fix this, and if there’s something which I am doing wrong then tell me, because I have checked online and people tend to say that it might be network issue or google reviewing the photos. To that my question is, if I am able to stream a 4k movie on the same network why can’t a simple picture get uploaded on it, and if google is reviewing then how come it gets uploaded right away when I edit the review and add some captions?It’s really doesn’t make sense to me. If anyone who knows what’s causing this and how to fix it, then please let me know. It’s really putting me off and discouraging me to review and add photos of places, which I don’t want to stop.

It was late at night at around 2 and I was travelling in my car. The navigation suddenly reroutes sends me to a narrow redirect and sends me to a dead end from I can barely reverse for like 400 m. Then the nightmare doesn’t stop it redirects me to another bypass and I join it and it send me to a highway in the opposite direction and I’m literally travelling to oncoming traffic separated by a divider. Auto drivers also use the bloody maps and they travel in completely bad routes and I end up in the worst possible. Please either restrict auto drivers to some other icon or make car option separate like in the case of bikes. This is horrible if my car was a little bit bigger I cannot imagine how I would have gotten out or the fact that I am travelling to oncoming traffic could have led to my potential accident. This is not a small feature request but comon the size of a swift and an auto is soo different. You need to separate it and stop causing issues especially for traffic in India. This was soo scary and horrible because they were travelling in the opposite direction at full speeds. Please keep cars different from general vehicles. I used to like using google maps but I think I’ll switch to Apple Maps for now cuz atleast I’ll be travelling a lot more but I won’t end up in such a horrible situation again. Jeez this has happened soo many times. All you need to do is keep the car icon different and cars let them choose cars and even suv as a matter of fact.

I’ve been using Google Maps for years, and honestly, it’s the one app I rely on every single day. The turn-by-turn navigation is almost always spot-on, and the real-time traffic updates have saved me from massive jams more times than I can count.But beyond just getting from point A to B, I really love the community aspect of the app. I add a lot of photos and reviews for local businesses, and it’s incredibly satisfying to see how uploading a quick, high-quality picture of a storefront or leaving a detailed review actually helps out the business and other people in the area. The interface for uploading media and tracking your contributions is super smooth now.Sometimes the offline maps can be a little clunky to download if you’re in a rush with a bad signal, but once they're saved, they work flawlessly. Whether I’m scouting a new location across town for a shoot or just trying to find a decent coffee shop nearby, it rarely lets me down. Highly recommend!
