This is more than a great run tracker. It has curated playlists for your jog, a social network where you can show off your hard work and compete with friends–and the design is as sleek as a fresh pair of Nike trainers.

  • I’m in love with this app, but it’s buggy

    dandesz199

I really love the design, the features, the animatons, and overall I love every Nike app. I think they are really helpful, but this one has a few bugs and needs stability improvments, too.It crashes if there are many other background apps and start a run; if the screen is locked, it may or it may not track your run; ig you have a plan (in the My Coach tab), you can’t change the plan difficulty and the amount of runs a week like you can in Nike Training Club; the voice coach isn’t helpful at all compared to the Runtastic’s one (for example if it’s a benchmark and you are at the end of a section, there’s no way you can know it by the app, you need to remember it) But once these small but critical bugs are fixed, it will become on of the best running apps in the App Store - the achievments are motivating, and the community is really great, too.I’d totally recommend it.

  • My favourite running app.

I love this app so much. I really like the design, the animations, the features, and especially the guided runs. The guided runs are definitely very high standards. They are really helpful actually, when I lack motivation, the coaches give me that last little push. The only thing I miss are the longer guided fartlek runs(40-60mins).I really love the auto-pause feature. When you need to stop, you won’t have to pause the run yourself so your pace will not deteriorate. I think it’s quite useful, if you want to get a real feedback about your progress. The achievements and challenges are great and motivating, too. I also miss the feature of being able to plan my own runs in advance. For example, interval runs, tempo runs, fartlek runs, or any other types.

  • The perfect app for runners

When I started my running journey, I was only able to run for 10 mins, in a slow version then I almost died. Then i became i little better every time ,however I always watched how fast I run. And if I ran slower than 6:00 mins/km I started running as fast as I could and I died again in the end of my workouts. And now I downloaded NRC and I can enjoy my runs without punishing myself much! It makes me to be a better runner and while that I can feel really happy through it! Thank you!

  • Annoying usability issues, frustration building up

Spoiler: Took me 5 weeks to find where to disable Apple Watch audio voice. I am using this app for 4 years now, 2 times a week at a minimum. Introducing the Apple Watch app was a real game changer for me because I didn’t have to carry my phone around anymore when running. And it worked flawlessly for a year. 🙌🏻Since Spring 2018 I started experiencing a difficult usability on my Watch: I have to tap several times to activate buttons (eg the start and finish workout) which is annoying when you are occupied with your workout and busy losing your breath... :) Moreover, after the latest ios update the audio guide turned on my Apple Watch and I was unable to switch it off - for weeks! Today I spent the last 1 hour trying to find a solution (disabling any voice notifications on my Nike app + Watch wasn’t enough!), uninstalling, reinstalling - nothing seemed helping. And now, unexpectedly, I found an option to disable voice over by sliding right when starting a new workout. 😳 I mean... guys... I am sure it can be put somewhere more visible! I really hope this won’t come up again and that I don’t need to configure this by every single workout. 🤓xx

  • Almost Perfect – But Still Stuck in a Square

    wasdrew

I’ve been using the Nike Running Club app for a while now, and honestly, it’s one of the best out there. But… there’s one surprisingly stubborn flaw. In an age where sharing is part of the ritual, the app still only supports a 1:1 square format for sharing post-run posters or photos. No flexibility for stories, reels, or portrait formats – which feels outdated, especially when every other platform has evolved. It may seem like a small thing, but when you’re proud of that personal best, you want to share it in a way that looks good everywhere. Here’s hoping Nike updates this and gives us the freedom to flex our runs in whatever frame fits.

  • Great promises underdelivered

Oh boy this app gets worse and worse. I love the idea of Guided Runs so gave a chance to that. It was raining heavily, nevermind. Went out and began the run on my phone, the coach started his talk with guest. It was nice for 5 minuets. Then I received a call, after that the coach never returned. No issue, I felt motivated anyway. After 7K I took a photo which made the app frozen. I could not restart it even after a reboot. As said it was rainy and cold so I gave up, continued running. My Apple Watch kept tracking and could listen music from my phone. When finished I found the run on the Watch paused. At home I saw two small segment recorded from the whole run without heart rate. After using this app for 5-6 years I seriously consider changing to something that does the job.

  • Still great, bring back training plans please

    RSzuecs

The app is the best running app if you are looking for easy to use interface that will accompany you on your runs through the years. Coaching is motivating, guided runs are amazing! I love the wide variety of runs and especially the runs geeared for all health points, even period and pregnancy runs. The only thing I miss is the training plan mode. I would probably have never been able to run a half marathon if it wasn’t for the app, but now this mode is gone.

  • Great runs, poor to build community

    EvPacheco

I LOVE the guided runs and the training plans! I think they’re fantastic but the app in general need a better planning. It is fine to find my friends and build a strong community. Not even clubs to join. Also the coaches always mention to be flexible with your trainings but if you don’t run every single run for the plan it won’t allow you to mark as completed even tho you ran the race and prepared yourself using the app. Would be worth it to update the app and make it more friendly to share with friends.

  • Love it, but seems to have some bugs lately

    Kara Frncz

I definitely love the app but lately i’ve been experiencing some bugs which are quite annoying. One is that every time I run with the Nike coach, even if it comments through my whole run, after finishing it it doesn’t add it to my plan, so I have to edit the run and add it manually. The other thing is that the gps tracking seems to be off. Today for example I ran quite a big circle around my neighborhood but the first third doesnt even show on my running map...

  • Great app few kinks and bugs

    Danzo234

Huge improvement for me coming over from what used to be runtastic and is now just a crappy money grab. Some minor sync bugs, and a few kinks in setting up runs with phone and watch are all I found. To start with phone and watch, I have to open app on phone in settings go to NRC, and do a sync check, start the app on watch, and then start the run on my phone wait a few seconds and it syncs my watch. If I do anything differently it fails to start my watch, and I end up with no pulse data. :)
