FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS A crash shortly after opening The app could close itself a moment after you opened it, before you had touched anything. That is fixed, and nothing you had saved was ever at risk. The microphone in an oral exam Leaving the app in the middle of an oral — taking a call, switching to something else — used to leave the microphone open behind you. The exam now hands it back as you go, and takes it again only when you return and answer.

FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS The AI examiner's voice It played the opening question at full volume and then dropped away to almost nothing for every question after you first used the microphone. That is fixed. The voice now holds its level for the whole exam, including the closing. Deleting a saved result One bad result used to be permanent. Press and hold any row in Recent Results or Assessment History, confirm, and it is removed — from this device and from your backup, so it will not reappear on your next phone. Signing out keeps your history Signing out used to erase everything stored on the device, including your AI Oral Examiner reports, which nothing could bring back. It no longer does. Your work stays where it is, and is only cleared if a different account signs in on the same device.

THE AI ORAL EXAMINER Part B is spoken, so practising it by reading is practising the wrong thing. This release adds a mock oral you actually talk to. You are given a scenario, you answer aloud, and the examiner responds to what you said — not to a script. If you skate over the bit that matters, you get asked about the bit that matters. • Five examiners, each with their own manner and voice • Scenarios across all ten modules, drawn from the same MIN 653 / STCW A-II/1 syllabus as the rest of the app • A written report at the end: verdict, score, the points you covered, the points you missed, and the examiner's commentary • Your exam history is kept on your device and encrypted at rest Premium includes 3 oral exams a month. If you want more, session packs are available. Quick Assessment — the written practice you already have — is unchanged and still available as often as you like. This is practice, not an assessment of readiness. It is not affiliated with the MCA, and the examiner is an AI.

This release is about reliability — the app getting out of your way when the connection doesn't cooperate. • Clearer sign-in. If sign-in fails because you're out of signal, or because your device's clock has drifted, you now get a plain-English explanation and the fix — not a raw error code. • Steadier purchases. A dropped connection partway through checkout or restore is now handled quietly and retried, instead of surfacing as a failure. • Oral Simulator resilience. Losing signal mid-session no longer ends your practice abruptly. • Referral accuracy. Rewards are now credited correctly on subscription renewals, and only once a real payment has been taken. • Performance improvements and minor bug fixes throughout.

Hotfix release This update fixes a content display issue some users saw after the multi-language launch in version 1.2.0. If your lessons or quiz questions appeared with text from multiple languages mixed together, this update cleans up the cached content and restores normal display. Each lesson, quiz question, and oral scenario displays only in the language you've selected. • Cached study material from earlier app versions is automatically refreshed on first launch. • Smaller stability and performance improvements throughout. For Hindi, Tagalog, Italian, Turkish and Romanian, the regulation reference stays in English; translating it ourselves would risk introducing a non-authoritative version into your studies. The surrounding lessons, glossary, and explanations are fully translated. Everything still works offline.
