FOUR WAYS TO CHECK A ROOM
Network scan
Lists every device on the Wi-Fi around you, with its manufacturer and
open ports. Cameras and DVRs announce themselves on ports that ordinary
phones and laptops never use — SpyFinder knows the difference, so your
own router doesn't get flagged as a threat.
What changed since last time
SpyFinder remembers the networks you check. Come back a week later and
it tells you what's new — not just what's there. Name your devices once
("Living room TV"), and anything you don't recognise stands out
immediately.
Bluetooth radar
Finds nearby Bluetooth devices, including trackers that broadcast no
name at all, and estimates how close each one is. Walk around the room
and watch the distance change.
Magnetic detector
Hidden electronics distort the magnetic field around them. SpyFinder
measures the normal field where you're standing first, then reports what
deviates from it — so a magnetic phone case doesn't set off a false
alarm.
Camera detector
Lens glass reflects light straight back at its source. Sweep the room
with the flashlight and a red filter, and reflections that don't belong
become visible.
AD BLOCKER FOR SAFARI
Blocks ads and trackers across every site you browse. Keep a whitelist
of sites you'd rather leave alone.
HONEST BY DESIGN
No sensor, no verdict. If your device has no magnetometer, SpyFinder
says so instead of telling you everything is fine. Randomised addresses
are labelled as such, not guessed at. A scan you can't trust is worse
than no scan.
Every scan stays in your history, so you can compare rooms and dates.

recognise and strangers stand out on their own.
• Far better device identification — most devices now show their actual
manufacturer instead of "Unknown".
• Magnetic detector now calibrates to the room before judging it, so
magnetic cases and mounts no longer trigger false alarms.
• Ad blocking rules rebuilt from the ground up.
• Fixed a bug where scan results could be lost after watching an ad.
