PocketKnife Budget is a personal finance app built for people who want to understand where their money goes — without signing up, connecting a bank, or sharing personal information.

• See the full year at a glance on the Dashboard — total income, expenses, and net worth by month in one scrollable table.
• Log income and expenses month by month, assign them to custom categories, and add optional notes.
• Set up recurring expenses (subscriptions, rent, utilities) once — weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual — and they appear automatically every month.
• Track a weekly spending budget and see exactly how much you've spent each week of the month.
• Run a simple check register in the Ledger — log credits and debits, watch your running balance update live, and mark entries as cleared.
• Understand your spending with four built-in charts: monthly income vs. expenses, spending by category (donut chart), monthly net trend, and weekly budget bars.
• Tap any chart segment or bar to drill into the individual transactions behind it.
• Create any number of custom categories, each with its own emoji and color.
• Switch between dark and light mode with a single tap.
