As a content creator captioning plays a massive part in my job role! I felt this worked better than others I have used in the past with others you find yourself manually having to edit the captions with this app I noticed it picked up everything I say clearly! Would definitely recommend!

Seems good but could use improvement

I’m editing this review as I’ve been using the app for over two weeks now. The auto caption is good, but only when it works. There are a lot of sentences it just skips all together, which I have to then manually add in. With regards to manually adding in words, the timing for each added in sentence isn’t ideal, a lot of the time it won’t let me lessen the amount of time a sentence is on the screen even though there’s no other added sentences before or after it. The editing itself is difficult as there is no easy way to pause in the exact location you need to edit it add. I’d like to be able to move my captions where ever on the screen I want and sometimes move certain captions individually. Lastly my favourite font was removed which was perfect, I think it was Calibri bold. Bring it back :(

Thanks for the feedback, we'll definitely consider this :)Update: You'll be able to lessen the timing of sentences to 0.5 seconds on the new update. We cannot bring Calibri bold due to legal reasons :(Our transcription is powered by Artificial Intelligence, and the quality of the transcription is mostly determined by the quality of audio, spoken language, pronunciation, and background noise.

I have just realised this app does not add captions to your videos, it subtitles the entire thing and you still have to manually add it to your videos yourself. UPDATE: I’ve just been told by the company that this will work as a caption app, if the videos are under 3 minutes. However currently, the videos will be selected from your photos whatever the length. Also a good feature for the app would be to have a library of the videos you’ve already uploaded.

Hello again! You continue to inspire us! We didn't think that being able to select any length of video was a problem, we realized it when you said it. We have developed a feature that allows you to crop any video you choose for 3 minutes. The next version will be released soon and this feature will be available.
