Update 2025: this app is updated weekly forseemingly no reason whatsoever. Whoever manages this app development needs fired. No longer works without an internet connection. Please reverse this change, it used to work! When riding rurally there often isn’t a mobile data network available. If someone needs to reconfigure the pedals in a remote area abroad, such as changing the crank arm length, they can’t do it with this new app version. It moans about requiring an internet connection and nothing will bypass this screen. Update: that’s my point, developer! If you take the pedals abroad to use on another bike in an area with NO internet, you can’t calibrate or set up the pedals! It’s completely stupid to require an internet connection and everybody knows it. The old app required NO internet connection after pedal registration and had the same features OFFLINE! Honestly, some people…
Hi Patricia thank your for your kind feedback! We're sorry to read about this, however the connection to the internet is useful for many other functionalities the app can now offer. As a suggestion, you can set up all the basic settings (such as calibration and crank arm length) before moving to a remote area or when you have wi-fi.Please, note that calibration is only needed when you move Assioma between bikes and not prior to every ride. As for the crank-arm length, this parameter should be inserted preferably in your bike computer if this allows you to, as it normally overwrites the value set in the app.Should you have any questions, feel free to send us an email at support@favero.com and we'll be happy to assist you!
