I found Reddit when I googled something & got a very informative & helpful answer from a Sub-Reddit. I explored a bit, & loved it! I’m now a member of all sorts of communities to do with everything from taking better pictures to identifying flowers to setting up the ideal model railway. Whatever your interests, you’re likely to find yourself in the company of a bunch of people who share them. Just one word of warning, though - it’s addictive! 😂

Out of all the social apps available, I always steer back to Reddit. It gives you information on your favourite subjects, allows you to see what you want to see, not what the app wants you to see. I’ve learned lots from the app from DIY tips to game walkthroughs etc. the support on Reddit is endless. If you are trying to detox from the usual rubbish you find on X, Facebook and Instagram, I definitely recommend Reddit as a go to place.

Hello Reddit Devs, this is only 5 stars so that you can see this, the age verification unfortunately does not work, especially if you take a selfie even when I do everything right it is still unable to verify and I do not have any of the Government ID verification available, if you can find some way to fix it then would be greatly appreciated

I’ve been enjoying Reddit but the latest update has broken something, it added a floating bar that appears on the bottom of the page, now when the bar gets activated I cannot scroll the page.

I’ve been on and off social media for years and somehow always missed Reddit, but it’s SO much better than Facey and Insta (for me). Lots of great info, if you put the effort in to find it, and very little fluff like a lot of social media platforms. Definitely the one if you’re a no nonsense kind of person.

If you are ever wanting the answer to a really specific question Reddit is so good at answering it. The community is so helpful and if you find the right subreddits you really feel like part of a community. This is honestly probably the best social media app out there.

Apple’s Age range verification isn’t actually used by Reddit and still asks for Persona verification. Tried to use the inbuilt iOS age range verification to verify my account - does nothing and then Reddit still asks me to go through Persona - no thanks, there should be no need if Apple has verified me and you have asked for that info.

I have loads of posts that are still there despite unsaving. When I press on them, they display an error message and there is no way to interact/unsave them. Only appears to happen on the iOS app as they are not present on the desktop or web version of Reddit.

Reddit is still one of the few places online where genuinely informed discussion can emerge around economics, geopolitics, technology, markets, and culture. The quality obviously depends on the subreddit, but some communities contain better real-time analysis and debate than traditional media comment sections.

Love Reddit. We are so lucky to be able to learn from you can other in it. Great app (although which they’d stop the thing that stops you commenting when chatty).RIP Aaron Swartz who dedicated his life to creating open source internet including this awesome tool, then died bt suicide when over zealous US Gov threatened to jail him for it (and related open sourcing of info the world needed), which would likelyHave bankrupted his family. Thank You Aaron and those who created this for us and fight for Open Source.
