The Pokémon world’s infamous league of darkness will soon infiltrate Pokémon TCG Pocket with its very own themed expansion: Team Rocket’s Ambition.
Here’s an exclusive look at three cards in advance of the booster’s release.
Team Rocket’s Raticate ex
This staple minion of Team Rocket Grunts should be instantly familiar to veteran Pokémon fans. Once you evolve it from Team Rocket’s Rattata, its Thieving Incisors ability steals a random Energy attached to your opponent’s Active Pokémon. Handy for a surprise attack early in a match!
Team Rocket’s Slowpoke
Did you know Team Rocket once had an evil plot to sell Slowpoke Tails? Depicted lounging in their hideout, Team Rocket’s Slowpoke can add a random Item card from your discard pile to your hand, letting you quickly reuse deck staples like Poké Ball, X Speed, or Rare Candy.
Team Rocket’s Pincurchin
This is the first Lightning-type in Pokémon TCG Pocket that can inflict Poison status on its opponents. Try supplementing it with cards that deal extra damage to Poisoned Pokémon or those that have already taken damage.
