Cena vs. The Rock? It’s a clash of cinematic superstars!

Rock the ring

WWE Mayhem takes pro wrestling to awesome extremes. Clotheslines, suplexes, and piledrivers shake up the arena, and simple controls make pulling off thunderous attacks a breeze. Just tap and swipe to weaken rivals, then activate devastating moves like Asuka’s Empress Kicks or The Rock’s People’s Elbow.

Our favorite move: The Giant Drop, where WWE legend Andre the Giant leaps from a staircase to flatten his opponent like a pancake.

Ice flies as Sub-Zero smacks Scorpion clear across the screen.

Flawless victory

Fatality! This mobile version of Mortal Kombat stars Raiden, Johnny Cage, and other beloved fighters from the franchise’s 30-year history, as well as guest brawlers like Homelander and Freddy Krueger.

Our favorite move: Friendship! Every one of these cuddly final moves is hilarious fun, but we have a soft spot for Kitana playing patty-cake with her twin sister before giving her a hug.

Herdy may be a small brawler, but he pulls off big attacks. Take that, Akira!

No frills, just thrills

Sumo, boxing, karate, and pro-wrestling power bombs collide in this exhilarating throwback to the genre’s 1990s heyday. Old-school fans will love Vita Fighters’ chunky polygonal characters and uncompromising combat system.

Our favorite move: Broken Trigun, which creates a lightning-fast clone of sharp-dressed Millions. Working in tandem, the pair can unleash a flurry of kicks, jabs, and uppercuts, reaching combos of 50 hits or more.

Upgrade your favorite fighters as you unlock more modes.

Wondrously weird

Brawlers don’t get more stylish than Skullgirls. From juggling attacks to chase-down combos, the action runs deep in this beautifully animated “dark deco” world of monster-girl warriors.

Our favorite move: Big Band’s Strike Up the Band, where rows of trumpets burst from the ground and barrage your opponent with trumpet mutes. Talk about an ensemble performance!

Think Batman can defeat Green Lantern? Let’s find out.

Capes and tights

Bang! Zap! Pow! In Injustice 2, DC’s mightiest heroes and villains duke it out in an alternate reality. Block Cyborg’s missiles and dodge Wonder Woman’s sword as you land punches and kicks that’ll be felt galaxies away.

Our favorite move: Darkseid’s supermove. His omega beams launch foes into space, right into a moonlike body that’s actually the villain’s giant palm—which then hurls them back to Earth!

To rain fury on a deserving foe, be sure to get in close.

Go Super Saiyan!

A cinematic spectacle of midair duels and over-the-top moves, Dragon Ball Legends deftly channels the thrilling anime series. Beneath its simple controls are nuances of team building and counterattacking that take time to learn, but the beautiful brawls are worth the effort.

Our favorite move: Rising Rush, a combo that deals enormous damage. Unleash it with your full team (after collecting all seven Dragon Balls) to launch an explosive mega-blast that’ll send your rivals flying.
