Wow! What a fun game. It’s a totally new way to play crosswords. I love the picture hints. Super fun and really makes me think. It’s definitely a great little break and keeps my mind sharp. I love how I can jump in and just play one turn in a game so quickly. Definitely sharing this one with all my friends! So many puzzles!I really like all the different game modes too. I’ve been playing this game for almost two years now and it’s really great to see how many features the team is adding to the game. It’s clear they really are working hard on this game. It’s always fresh. New thing surprise me. I am totally surprised by their creativity - in a great way. What will they think of next?!Another great thing I’ve been really happy about besides the different word puzzles - is the new customization. That’s so fun! I love seeing some new tile style and thinking “where on earth did that player get that? And how can I get it?!” They’re really fun and vibrant and make the game more interesting. Keep it up team!!!!

I want to start off by saying that I am a “game hopper.” I get bored quickly so typically, as soon as I download a game and play for a little, I’m deleting it the same day. I’ve had this game for well over a year now and I play it seriously every day, even if for only 10 minutes. It has a great mix between challenging and excitement. It keeps me on my toes and I really do think it keeps the brain sharp. However…I have one problem. THE ADS! Ads are a part of almost every game now. I’m used to that. However, this game has an ad after every single turn. Then, the worst to me, is when you’re playing the mini games within the app, like the solo challenge, every couple seconds, an ad pops up. It’s seriously like every 15 seconds and those games can take you up to 5, maybe even more, minutes to do! You know how many ads that ends up being?! It makes me frustrated and I quit every time. They have an option to purchase ad free…FOR A MONTLY PRICE! That, to me, is ridiculous. Any game I have actually felt was worth keeping with ads had an option to remove them permanently. I’d gladly pay to do that, but it’s not an option. I love this game a lot and I’ve even suggested it to others…but I don’t know how much longer I can take these ads without a permanent solution to remove them (and NOT by paying a monthly charge!)

UPDATE - WTH?! I play the daily solo game every day and today I get a pop up saying I need to pay 100 tokens to keep my 23 day streak. I know is longer than that because I played every day in July and today is August 10th. Didn’t skip a day. Didn’t get less than 3 stars every day. It’s bad enough that I’ve been cheated on the points and now you have to at to keep what you’ve already earned? Feels like I’m being robbed in broad daylight. AND this is the only way I can complain - no other way to contact the owner. I’m about ready to kick this game to the curb. I absolutely love this game, but as you progress to higher levels, it takes more points to get to the next level. Before I redeem an achievement, I’ll calculate my new point level in my head. But any time I’ve earned more than 100 points, I didn’t get all of them. All I needed to get to the next level was 4 points. Four stinking points and I waited for weeks to earn them to get to the next level. Today I had achieved winning 100 normal games, which was worth 100 points. I knew after I finished my current level with 4 of the points, I would have 96 points leftover for the next level. Nope! 16 points! Cheated out of 80 points! This isn’t the first time this has happened to me and as far as I know, I have been cheated out of almost 300 points. There is no way to inquire or report this to the game owner, so I’m putting it out here. Every time you earn an achievement, I suggest you take a screen shot before and after redeeming the award. Don’t know what you’ll do with it, but maybe someone will read this and offer a way for us to show them how we’ve been cheated out of points.

I wanted to start off on a more positive note. To begin, as soon as I saw an ad for this on tiktok I knew it would be a fun game as I LOVE the concept. I enjoy the idea of a sort of scrabble game with hints, and found it super fun! I played for about an hour when i first downloaded it. But that said, I’ve found something that was just really frustrating to me. I was doing the JFK event and as the levels would get harder, I would need more time and power ups to actually be able to move to the next level. I found that I was basically watching a minute or two long ad every minute or so just so that I can play for 60 seconds, have the other player say “I made a move!” and get another ad. It’s so hard to make coins in the game so it’s really nice that you can watch an ad for power ups, but it’s really annoying that an ad will play immediately after regardless. I understand that companies need ads to be able to make money and advertise on other platforms, but this is absurd. I don’t expect my leisurely 10 minute break to be interrupted by misleading merging game ads from those same three companies. When i started noticing how irritating it was getting, I decided to look into the prices for ad-free gaming, and I’d just like to state that 10 dollars a month is absurd. I would understand maybe 10 dollars for life, but as a monthly payment? Maybe I’m a cheapskate but I truly think that’s expensive for an app. I know this really seems like me just complaining, but I want to make it seen that the ads are disruptive and made me want to delete this app more than keep it. There are too many word and puzzle games that interrupt you with ads now and I was really hoping this one would be safe, but it’s not. I hope you made enough money from the billions of ads I just watched. Thank you.
