Thousands of plants and animals have been discovered but haven’t been seen for decades and could be on the brink of extinction. In order to save these species, we must first find them again. THE SEARCH FOR LOST SPECIES is a tabletop board game from Renegade Game Studios about this real-world search. You are scientists on an expedition to find one of these Lost Species. While there are Lost Species all around the world, this game focuses on several Lost Species in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. This is a companion app for THE SEARCH FOR LOST SPECIES, which will randomly choose the locations for the Lost Species and all other island inhabitants. Travel around an island to survey for wildlife using the companion app. Use surveys and logic rules to report and confirm your wildlife sightings. Record your findings and deduce where the Lost Species must be!

As an app developer myself, I am simply amazed this game doesn’t save its state in the event it crashes, or you need to walk away for some time and iOS shuts it down. I keep losing my game in the middle of it if I can’t sit down in one sitting. The rest of the game is done so well, how could this be overlooked!?
