The app's real-time visualization and high-precision AI technology have revolutionized the way I approach kitchen remodels. The ability to integrate 3D furniture objects and access an extensive range of paint colors from industry leaders like Behr and Sherwin Williams has made design discussions with clients more dynamic and fruitful. The detailed and accurate design visualization has significantly reduced the time spent on revisions, ensuring that my projects stay on schedule and within budget. Renovate AI has not only enhanced my service offering but also elevated my clients' experience by bringing their dream kitchens to life before the actual renovation begins.

I uploaded a picture of my home front exterior and selected a style to incorporate from their image library. It generated a couple of ok images. The Spot Design is terrible. I tried to select a wall section using the box in Spot Design to change the windows and siding just inside the box selection and the App generated a completely new image for the entire front facade making the Spot design useless! What is needed is for the app to scan the image, segregate all windows, doors, wall sections, gables, and roofs/overhangs and let you click on and change each one independently. For example, I’d like to have different siding on the gable than the walls. I’d like to change or delete a specific window and possibly change the style, shape or size of it. I’d like to add corbels to the eves in specific places. This app doesn’t allow any selection features. Not sure any AI design apps do, but the one that comes up with these features first will have the best app on the market. There is already software on the market that lets you upload a home or room image, it identifies each wall section, and lets you select the color for a single wall section. Not sure why an AI software can’t do that. Currently, this app is not worth the money.

I’ve seen a few designs using this app and decided to give a whirl. First I had a hard time navigating the app, there are many design options but each one such as painting walls or changing the floors requires separate actions that cost points each time you use. Also, I could not locate a how to page that may simplify the best way to navigate the app. AI works OK but often times makes simple errors such as generating different cabinet door styles to a single cabinet. Each regeneration of image also costs points. Fairly expensive to use. I understand part of this may be user error but again, figuring out how to use the tools and the best techniques could not be located. The custom paint tool for walls offers little customization, so staying in the lines of a space is very difficult if not impossible. The AI wall color also adds little adjustments to color (using a pre selected palette) and does not seem to mirror colors well. Example: choosing the darkest black and it turn the walls a dull gray. I chose to not play with all of the functions after basic changes could hardly be made. One part I enjoyed was the AI room design where you could pick and add multiple design styles, still they were almost over designed elements even when adjusting for levels of change.Overall:Value: 2/5User Interface: 2/5User Experience: 1/5Performance: 3/5Features & Functionality: 2/5

I first purchased this app in 2023. I actually purchased it on accident by forgetting to cancel a trial so I paid $100. When I realized what happened, I went and canceled so it wouldn’t renew the following year. As a real estate agent, I actually ended up using this app a lot more than I expected and found it worth it. When I went to use the app a few months ago, I realize that my subscription had expired. I was delighted to see that it was cheaper, and I totally found the value worth it for my business. OR, so I thought. It allowed me to do five renderings and then tell me I had to purchase more credit if I wanted to do more. Previously, I had unlimited renderings for the year. This is a drastic change. I reached out to customer support and never got this resolved. That was almost 5 months ago, and I still can’t do any renderings without purchasing coins. That means I did about five renderings for $50-$60. I feel like there’s a bait and switch because this wasn’t the original app I signed up for. Not worth it! I was scammed.
