I’m only two hours into this app and already love it. Not very often that I find something so incredibly useful, informative and helpful all in one place! I love the quick ID from photos; I have several “volunteers” in my garden this year and now I know what to expect! I have some obscure heirloom plants growing and the app knows what everything is, I even learned some useful care tips. A great thing about this app is the diagnosis of issues detected in the pictures you provide, and how to fix it! One of my tomatoes showed “yellow leaf” and gave me precise instructions. You can add the plants you IID to “my garden” and there is a diary to store notes on each plant. All in all, this is a great app for novice gardeners and old-timers alike, and far superior to its competitors. I appreciate the 7 day free trial. A little pricey at $30/year but I’ve already decided it’s worth the money. Thanks developers! You scored on this one.UPDATE: still a 5 star rating! Living on many acres in a 9b redwood forest setting, this app has become invaluable in identifying the diversity of life in my environment. I use it daily during Spring & Summer. Accuracy is not 100% (I would not consume something I found in woods based on the app’s ID) but it’s close. I love being able to save plants to “My Garden” for useful reference. My garden has become a space for healing and I appreciate the symbolism/meaning feature. This app has helped me become a better gardener and I highly recommend it, esp if you’re a new or inexperienced gardener. Happy Growing!

I recently was pulling weeds in my garden when I noticed my row of carrots were growing nicely. The carrot tops were bright and green. I usually run my fingers over them. I love the smell. I noticed one carrot top that seemed a little different. It was taller, a different deeper shade of green than the rest. The leaves were also slightly different. I thought maybe it could be wild parsley, or a different type of carrot, even though I didn’t plant any different ones. instead of touching it, I decided to pull out my phone and use the picture this app. It immediately identified this carrot imposter. It was poison hemlock. I took several photos to make sure it was accurate and not a false identification. I also took photos of my other carrots to compare. Picture this app identified it correctly each time. I don’t know how this highly toxic plant got into my raised vegetable garden. What is alarming it was hiding right next to my carrots. I could easily have mistaken this highly toxic plant as parsley or a carrot top and included it in a salad for our family dinner. I have a husband and a six year old son. My son regularly comes out to the garden with me and I teach him the differences between herbs and vegetables. He regularly picks dill and basil, and eats them right from the garden. Because that’s what I do. I cannot dwell on the ‘what ifs” of this scenario but I can tell you; I am a forever patron of the picture this app. Picture this app potentially saved me and my family from serious illness or worse. Thank you!!!

This might be the first review I've ever written. Like a dream come true. Plants are my hobby, especially wild plants and these seems to have such a wild collection of everything. Plus the helpful bit is that it gives you the uses of some of them. Simply love it !! I love this app, it's so easy to use, full of information and very accurate! when I take the photo it identifies it in seconds and tells me what the name is and type and name and where it is from!! Great!! NO ADS!! and I think u should download it NOW. Upgraded to premium and love the functionality and simple process. Beyond identification, the additional info is really interesting and helpful, including diagnostic advice if photo shows plant problem. Roadside flowers and plants, the names of which many of us do not know, now identified with no problem whatsoever! In the trial stage but so far very impressed. so I did not hesitate to subscribe to this APP. I'm not a flower expert but am feeling this is telling me useful information. Thank you for this app which I am happy to recommend to anyone who likes walking in the countryside or has an interest in the flora of the world! It also lets you keep many lovely pictures!! Certain lets you keep many lovely pictures!! Certainly worth the investment. My one suggestion is ,a shortcut button' back to album' would be really welcome after identifying a plant. This way I don't need to go back to the homepage many times to check my album every time. And have you list another accessibility into consideration? Wish better.

This app is absolutely amazing! It was able to quickly and correctly identify every plant in my garden, including one I had spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to identify on my own. I almost want the premium version because the features look so, so nice. Actually, I probably would buy it except that I have very low income and I probably wouldn’t get a whole ton of use out of it anyway. 😂 Anyway, this is absolutely a five star app! The design is great and comprehensive, and it holds a wealth of useful information you would have to surf the web for hours to find otherwise. Plus, I just love the light meter, diagnose, My Garden, and seasonal tips features. So helpful. If I had any suggestions at all, it would be to include options in the surveys (such as the one in the watering frequency calculator) for non-potted plants, and to allow you to edit the diagnosis as you can the plant names. However, these things did not detract from my experience at all, and this was still absolutely mind blowing! The accuracy, while not always perfect, is truly top notch. I applaud the developers, design team, and everyone who worked on this. You are all amazing. ❤️ All you plant lovers out there, totally support these guys by getting the premium version if (unlike me) you can afford it. Five stars!
