Yes I know if your looking at this your probably like why is Dream here but I had loved this game since I was little and I have some advice and stuff to add to make the game much better. Please bring back the city location it’s a really og location and I or we really love it, also if you can please bring back the mini game where you have gadgets and can play against other people ( only ogs remember this ). Please, please add Kevin Stuart and bob and add more minions in costumes other than Dave cause I’m kinda just bored of seeing Dave all the time. Also add the “ Antidote” power up that can only be used with the purple minion ( please also make a purple minion character except it can’t break things ), what the antidote does is that it turns you into a regular minion but have all the powers in the game ( hopefully this isn’t op ), and if you dont equip the purple minion the px 41 serum will just do the same thing. Please also add the fact when you change into a purple minion as Carl it will change you into a two eyed minion please fix that into a one eyed minion please same goes with the moon power up. If this is ok please add that we can change sides if we wanna be despicable or good like you change into the current state of the game now into the og version of the game when there was that jelly thing and we would do missions to get to each sections so of the lab and the locations. That’s all I have for now please try adding them it will make the game better ( I hope). Oh and please also get rid of the ads please they have no porpoise and just please get rid of them thank you and get rid of the collecting cards thing please thxs. — Dream :)
A pretty good remake of a classic endless runner but with a few flaws.

I used to play the old version this game a long time ago when I was younger and I still liked it till this day. When I heard that you guys were remaking this game with better graphics, new abilities, and a new ui, I was excited to replay one of my childhood favorites until I saw some problems with this new version of Minion Rush. The thing I liked about this version is how some of the new abilities are super overpowered, allowing you to destroy obstacles in your way with ease while riding on a car. The things I didn’t liked about this new version of Minion Rush is the amount of ads shoved into your face, the lack of bosses,the strict tournament time. Well you can argue that the company has to have ads in order to monetize this free game but they throw ads in while you’re navigating the menu and after you finished running. Then, you could also argue that they might add in bosses in a future update but It just feels empty without them. Now I’m going to talk about the short time limit for the tournament. This might be a skill issue but I think the tournament in the should last for at least a week because I sometimes don’t play this game or I might be busy doing something. Disregarding all the flaws, this is still a very good endless runner, even though a prefer the original over the new one.

Update removed content

The new most recent major update took away the majority of content that made the game fun and interesting. Prior to this major update the game was very interesting and entertaining. An example of a feature that was removed was the ability of all costumes having different power ups and buffs. It was enjoyable to have incentive to collecting new costumes as some were superior to others for certain challenges. Similar to this, the decision to remove mission mode with different quests to complete was ill advised as it removed a majority of the motive to run. I also think that most of the power-ups are lame and very similar to each other. An example of this is with the rocket blade and the ultimate. They both do the exact same thing. I believe that the old power ups are far superior to the newly added ones. Specifically, the freeze ray and the evil minion potion should still be in the game as they also reference the Despicable Me movies where these new power ups do not. Additionally, there are only four locations when before there were around 15 or more. I hope that this game reverts the changes to the game that removed the enjoyable aspects as there is way less content to enjoy. I think is it crucial that the different minion costumes have different passives that give them certain buffs for different missions and it is important that the mission mode is restored in some manner. These two aspects of the game are the most essential to keep the game fun.

I dunno if my phone battery is bad, or if I use it too much to the point of overheating, but there are way more unnecessary bugs in this game than I care to admit. Despite the team doing everything in their power to ensure peak gameplay performance, it still needs a lot of work. Very frequently it glitches out during my runs, forcing me to restart and lose all my progress. I also don’t like the repetitive nature of events in this game. The tournaments are bland, and the minion mash ups are cumbersome at best. The only event I thoroughly enjoy is the adventure run. I like the new minions you guys added to the game, like James for instance, and the lost reels event was very fun while it lasted. The bugs and fundamental flaws are made worse by the fact that there is no challenge in this game. The old version did the difficulty so much better by making the minion run so fast to the point of the game being unplayable. It was so stupid it was enjoyable. But now, the game just caps to a certain speed, and once you get good, you can run forever. Literally. The only reason I rate this game two stars and not one star is because I still hold Minion Rush to very high standards. This was my favorite mobile game growing up. But the glitches and repetitiveness just kills the identity it once had. Maybe if the dev team can shore up all the bugs, and possibly bring back missions and minion leagues, then I’ll definitely give this game a better rating.
