Lost in the Depths is a horror puzzle game combining exploration and survival, where you play as a young man trapped in an abandoned underground mine. No light. No one can hear your cries. Only cold tunnels lead to buried truths – and Lost in the Depths lets you uncover them for yourself.
In Lost in the Depths, players must solve logic puzzles, search for clues, combine items, and find a way out of the ever-lurking darkness. Each new area contains secrets, strange mechanisms, and traces of people who vanished without a trace. The deeper you go, the more you realize this mine was not abandoned by accident.
Lost in the Depths offers a tense experience with a variety of puzzles, a chilling environment, and a branching storyline based on your choices. Every item you collect can unlock a new door, trigger old mechanisms, or reveal dark truths hidden deep in the mine. The light gradually fades, and distant echoes grow nearer. In Lost in the Depths, every step can lead you to freedom… or further into darkness. Do you have the courage to uncover all its secrets?
If you love horror puzzles, escape games, clue-finding adventures, dark stories, or survival exploration games, Lost in the Depths is an experience you cannot miss.
Key Features of Lost in the Depths

How to Play:
In Lost in the Depths, you control the young man through tap – drag – interact gestures. Explore each area by tapping objects, observing the environment, and finding interactive points. Every clue and collected item has a purpose: unlock mechanisms, combine with other items, or trigger hidden events.
Nothing in Lost in the Depths is meaningless – every detail may help you escape the darkness or lead to deeper secrets. The shadows are always watching… but only you decide how far you dare to go.

I had a good bit of trouble playing on my iPad. Game was too unresponsive and even with many clicks I still missed things. I had to watch a walkthrough to learn what I was missing. There were also other things that could be improved - I agree with the reviewer who complained that inventory items weren’t identified. I had the same problem. Was that a handle or an electrical wire, and what are those red things? Burning coals? Hints weren’t very helpful. They told me to use items I hadn’t found yet. In the end I played on my MacBook and that worked much better. The game was way more responsive and enjoyable. Four stars for fun artwork, some good puzzles, and a generous length. I like this dev’s games but wish they were finessed a bit more.
Great hand drawn game!

I love this game. It’s well worth the $1.99 to get rid of ads. It’s just the right amount challenging. Without a camera or a map, you may need paper and pen - which is old fashioned fun!

I really do! I love this TYPE of game. “..Depths” just isn’t a great example. I love puzzles- that are truly sensical & intuitive. Many of the puzzles here are trial & error (meh); others are ciphers that don’t translate reliably (boo). But what truly dragged the rating sooo low is the glitch that keeps me from progressing fully & finishing the game: Perhaps i entered the room (small, partially opened door) with the cogwheels puzzle too early..? Or started placing the 5 or 6 tokens (into the big bluish wall) before i had everything i needed..? But i’ve triggered some glitch.. Now when i try to enter again, i only receive a zoomed-in image [of said room’s exit] with no minimize option; I can no longer access any of the room’s puzzles & have effectively ended my game.
Meh

I love this kind of game. But this one… not so much. I haven’t found most of this dev’s games particularly intuitive, but this one is the worst. On top of the usual, it doesn’t tell you what an item is when you pick it up.. or in your inventory. It’s also super zoomed out for some reason and really hard to see. And finally, the drag your finger camera instead of just arrows is awful. It’s really messing with my digital motion sickness.
