When we subscribed to the apple one family plan, we thought the game center was just a bonus no one would use much. I underestimated the enjoyment of playing games without a constant barrage of ads! Its great for relaxation & this game is at the top of my list. The game itself is well designed & maintained, everything works as intended. Theres loads of options, challenges, goals & rewards to make it more fun to keep coming come back (vs games that design every goal around attempting to squeeze money out of you). The difficulty level is flexible, and adapts to your interaction (you can just play quick easy games, or get into leagues & rankings for more challenge). Every week there's new themed challenges added (some with all themed clues), you can play to collect little titles & "flair" for your acct., silly but fun. I also underestimated what a negative effect most regular game apps really have, with the constant adds & pressure to spend & "upgrade". They really are designed to try to trigger addiction rather than relaxation, with no benefits. This is a game i don't ever regret opening. Its fun & satisfying, its easy to put down but enjoyable to return to. Unlike most games, this one is actually beneficial for your brain (id also highly recommend the NYT crossword app!)

When I was a little girl I used to watch my grandmother sit and answer the Jeopardy questions faithfully every week night. I thought she was the smartest woman in the world to know all the answers like that. She simply replied that it was just life experience and she paid attention to her surroundings daily which kept her mind sharp. I was in awe, my grandmother was my idol and hero already, this was just the icing on the cake!! So awesome to get to experience playing the game on here, feels like I am standing in the show room and playing with a live audience. Thank you for being such a wonderful and classic game to mobile devices every where. Now we can all be as smart as grandma. Aka: Amber

This game feels horribly dated. Like something that might have been added to the App Store back when Tap Tap Revenge was still a thing. A lot of the game elements look terrible on the currently hi-res displays that most Apple devices use these days. Especially the profile elements you can unlock through gameplay. Specifically the borders and name plate backgrounds. They look SO BAD. The UI is also not intuitively designed, so trying to figure out what buttons do or how to navigate through the menus is not obvious. While playing a this game often gives me the same exact puzzle twice in a row for different dollar amounts in the same category, so the trivia randomizer algorithm could probably use a little work.**UPDATED REVIEW**I took my star rating even lower after seeing a racially insensitive option for a solution to a prompt regarding unstable baseball players. The team doesn’t by that name anymore and the decision to put a solution out there that hints at the fact that indigenous people are unstable is a terrible one, even if it’s not the correct solution.

This version of Jeopardy! is minimal in the actual gameplay, and is more like a Jeopardy! skin on an average trivia game. Only three categories and only three clues per category, rather than five categories and five clues each. When you select a clue, somehow the other players are also able to earn points, and sometimes they earn more points, taking the lead. This is not how Jeopardy! is supposed to play. It almost seems as if the game designers have never seen the show.One other issue is that sometimes the clue repeats within a category during the same round. What I mean is that I've provided a question, then selected the next clue in that category, and been presented with the exact same clue. It doesn't happen often, though it isn't a one-time occurrence, and I've only played this for a few hours of total gameplay time over the past few days.
