I’ve really enjoyed playing Game of Thrones: Dragonfire. The graphics are great, the dragon mechanics are fun, and the alliance and kingdom warfare make for an engaging strategy game. It’s one of the better mobile strategy games I’ve played.That said, there’s one major gameplay issue that I hope the developers address. Players occupying an SOP can abuse the Resolve mechanic by sending a march to attack a Resolve-protected opponent and then instantly recalling their march. This allows them to avoid incoming attacks while still reaching and hitting enemy siege marches. Since attacking an SOP is already very difficult, this tactic creates an unfair advantage with very little counterplay. Especially when you can potentially perform that trick 30 times vs an attacking player only having 10 APs for 1 march. Strategy games should reward planning and skill, not exploits that are nearly impossible to counter. I hope the developers review this interaction and make adjustments so that battles are decided by strategy rather than loopholes in the mechanics.Overall, I still think this is a fantastic game and would recommend it, but fixing this issue would make kingdom warfare much more balanced and enjoyable.

You can’t choose where you start, when I started every single high level tile immediately around my stronghold was FACTION OWNED. Meaning, I couldn’t just take the tile as I could if is was an enemy tile. It is virtually impossible to save resources in the spot the game starts you at. You HAVE to relocate, and it charges you gold if you want to rush it. On top of that, my faction has all of the available resources, any time I go after a high level tile, BOOM. Somebody from my faction gets it before I do, because it’s REQUIRED to build your tiles off of your own and your faction mates. On top of that, you need to add a CONTRACT function to the game. I am not about some random people in my faction telling me that they have a “Verbal Agreement with the North”. My faction literally is bullying anyone who is trying to gain territory for us. They won’t help worth anything. You need to actually look through the faction chat and see how many people are telling people to not attack certain tiles because of a verbal agreement with an enemy. (if you are wondering what faction I’m in, it is the Rhaenyra Targaryen faction.) The game is pay to win. You have to pay real money to be able to access legendary dragons, you never get any from the free pulls, that means any gold dragon I have seen, most likely someone spent money on chests, or to get the dragon outright. The only reason I am giving this two stars it is because of the fact you were using the characters and the dragons from the show. Do better, please get your community under control.

It’s a good game! However a big crit I have is the way factions work with tiles. It’s cool that you can claim tiles adjacent to those conquered by another member but it’s a lot less fun when you’re working your way to a high level tile that you need and another player just swoops in and takes it off of your work. You don’t get any benefits from it and there is no way to move them off the tile/claim it for yourself. It’s a big way for higher level players in a faction to push down newer players and ruin their experience, cause them to quit, and cause hostility within the faction. It’s a well designed game in all other areas but putting in a system where quests can still get completed if a tile of that level get taken next to yours by a faction member, you can get some run off material if you have a tile next to it, or any other solution would greatly reduce frustration within that gameplay. Also, that mode where you’re flying the dragon is boring and take up UI space when completed. Are there more levels in the future? Is there a way to reward replaying it?

First of all, let it be clear that every time the final campaign ends everything you worked hard for will reset. I was at 1.6 million in power before the campaign ended and once a new one began I started off at 220K. You wanna know what doesn’t reset? Dragon stars; which you are able to buy however not everyone has the luxury of buying the stars so at some point you will end up stagnant in your power. Once the final campaign ends you will placed on a new server with a whole new group of people. Mind you I said dragon stars don’t reset. So there are people starting off at 1-2 million in power because they bought 6-10 stars for each of their dragons!!!! (Stars are not cheap!!) They say they want an equal and balanced playing field but that’s not true!!! You have to rebuild from the ground up while those players who bought hella stars get a HUGE head start & by the time you hit a million they will be at 3-4 million in power. Imagine if there are 15+ people with that power in one alliance and everyone else is at minimum 500k. It’s completely unfair. I just witnessed 3 of their armies wipeout 30+ of my factions armies without even trying!!!! So if you’re expecting a free to play game find you something else instead. This is clearly a money grab.
