My APP has been fixed - THANK YOU!!! I think it was 2 weeks after submitting this review, the app was fixed and it works flawlessly again! I kept my original review so you can read it. Thank you. I actually waited a little while to make sure and it works 100% of the time now. . ORIGINAL REVIEW: I do LOVE the A/C, and it worked flawlessly with the prior app - but since it was upgraded, it’s offline more than it’s on, and it’s very frustrating! Example: Tonight I looked at the app 2 hrs before I needed it, and I was on-line, so I waited. 2 hrs later when I needed to turn the A/C on, your app is offline - again! And this is happening most every night. Please fix it. My only other suggestion would be to add an option for a set temperature we can individualize. It comes on at a set temp of 72, but let’s be honest, no one who has an A/C will have it set that warm… I really do love this A/C itself.

Tasks need to be more in line with other products and apps. Schedules need to have the option to be start only events and not start/end events. This creates a lot of issues with setting schedules that are actually useable. I.e. If you set a schedule to start at 8 am, maybe you only want to always start it at 8 am. This mitigates the schedule from being messed with by someone making an adjustment during the day. But, the way the app sits, if you set a schedule at 8 am, you have to have it end. And then you have to have another schedule for the next tasty you want to give it. And then the times can’t overlap by even a minute, otherwise the schedule won’t save, but it won’t tell you that is the reason why it won’t save. This also means that the ac might turn off completely and turn on completely the next minute. I know the compressor won’t run again right away because they usually have time delays, but again, this might trigger a beep every time at the scheduled time. I bought the AC units primarily for the wifi function, and this app makes me wonder if I should have chosen midea or even a Home Depot hub space unit since the schedules are much more useful.

This is my second summer with my AC, and I love it! But the app-OMG! I won't go into all of the problems that I've had with it, but my latest is one that someone else mentioned: I turned off one of the "tasks", earlier today--- and while I can see that it is still turned off, my air conditioner has come on!… There have been various other problems which seem to have been fixed, but since June, I have set timers on my phone to doublecheck that my AC is doing what I have it set up to do, when I'm not home. (and sometimes it's not –-– I end up turning it on or off through the Wi-Fi, and fortunately that works!) I understand that programming something like this could be really complicated, and I appreciate that the tech people seem to be working on it, daily, and upgrading it frequently… But here's the thing, it worked last year!!! (for me, at least) why, oh why did you mess with it in between? It's the end of July, and those of us in the northern hemisphere are at the peak of our hot weather! Please fix this, then leave it alone!

This seems so obvious to me, yet this app just gets more and more cumbersome. I wanted to turn my AC on High, Cool and 60 degrees. This is probably the most common setting for an air conditioner when first turned on. I counted the number of clicks needed to do that. 22! Twenty two! One to open app. One to click on the air conditioner I want. One to click Turn On. One to click Mode. One to click Cool. One to click to close the menu. One to click Fan Speed. One to click High. One to click to close the menu. One to click and drag the screen up so I can get to the temperature. 12 more clicks to get the temperature down from 72 to 60. 22 clicks! Here's an idea. Either just a Max Cool button or implement some custom buttons that I can assign settings to, or make your app one screen with four horizontal rows. First row has three buttons: Fan, Evo, Cool. Second row has four buttons: Low, Med, High, Auto. Third row has a horizontal that lets you slide to the temperature you want. Last row has two buttons: Submit, Off. That's it! That's all you need! Four clicks and you're done.
