I relapsed during the shutdown…I’m an RN first sober in 1992 when I was confronted by my fellow nurses (in a loving but deadly serious way) and dove head first into recovery via invitations from Board of Nursing. Thank you HP! I’m the oldest child in a large dysfunctional family, parents had emotional/marital problems and divorced after 13 years leaving kids and mom befuddled and dirt poor. I relapsed during the pandemic (imagine that!) after 25 years and I found myself in the desert alone with my BB. This was the app I purchased after deciding it was time to stop, again…MY HP was there too and I’m here one day at a time almost 4 years later. My distant friend who suddenly called wondering if I’m alright is now my sponsor and WE use the app daily in our communications and practice by reading and sharing daily. Thank you for carrying the message in such a cool way. I absolutely love that approved literature is available at a touch, to augment my program in multiple ways. We always start the day by reading the day’s Daily Reflection and first one online shares with the other, indicating a good nights’ rest clean and sober. Happy travels on that road to serenity and joy that is our birthright. I for one believe that HP IS here for us. Today.

Everything AA is an outstanding app! It manages to successfully and gracefully consolidate all(?) of the key-reads used by and for the purposes of Alcoholics Anonymous. Within each title you’ll fine it reads along side-by-side with any hard copy cover-to-cover. I’ve not found a single missing page, paragraph, word, or punctuation. From concept to creation this app has been well thought out, well put together, accurate to the letter (that I’ve found so far, I haven’t read everything it contains in its entirety), well maintained, and I find it extremely UX/UI-Friendly (iPhone 16). Navigation is about as easy as it can possibly be and having the “go to” page feature is especially critical. For example when reading The Big Book, which is broken down by section/chapter & also indicates where the start and end pages for the section selected. In an instance where you may have left off mid-section; being able to tap “go to” and put in the page number where you left off (rather than scroll through 200 pages trying to find it) is great. Just an overall great app with the best possible intentions and humbly imo truly worthy of your support. Thank you for gifting us with this app and resource!!

This app has myself more on track daily to what is important to practice not to drink a zip of alcohol and how to stay sober daily to help other alcoholics like myself. Has my heart and mind closer to my higher power to remove my shortcomings and character defects. The courage to accept the things I cannot change and the wisdom to change the things I can. Myself to be tru and capable to realize alcoholism is the enemy inside my temple of god is no good for myself or others that love me and appreciate myself being sober. I am building a new relationship with my fellowship and family that’s are always there when I was drunk and numb from the pain from this powerful disease that’s has got myself through the past years. Is this 95 days of sobriety myself in this AA program has change my mind to remain sober no matter the circumstances I get myself to: I am willing to pass on this message to any other alcoholic still suffering from this pandemic disease….

Having 14,000 some days of sobriety within AA, I love the physical books. What a surprise it came for me to be able to use this app and pause in the middle of the day in the middle of nowhere and read the literature. To see my days of sobriety as a masthead on the app to add warmth and personalizing it to make me keen to dig in! It’s those small touches that draw me closer to AA such as when people said, Hi Diane! after I identified myself as an alcoholic. Before I got this app in February 2022, I never knew how many days I had. And as I have said, that information is emblazoned as on writing paper on the tippy top. As though the literature were written explicitly for me. As the Beatles once said to encourage each other in their early days, “Let’s go to the toppermost of the poppermost.” The beautiful design of this app is Good Orderly Direction indeed.
