It basically does what it’s supposed to, but there are weak spots. 1: When “Smart” charging, if the app stops charging and schedules it to restart at a later time, it NEVER restarts the charging. I’ve had to drastically change what time I want the charge finished so it doesn’t stop after I go to bed. Otherwise, when I get up and ready to go, the app didn’t restart the charging, and the car isn’t charged to the percentage I was expecting. 2: A recent update seems to have removed the estimated charging costs for each charge. I have my rate added, and up until recently, it would give me an estimated cost of each charge, based on that rate. My rate is still in the app, but my charging costs are no longer displayed. 3: The app’s “chat with us” feature is garbage. You’re not actually getting to chat at all. It’s just a series of pre-written questions, with set answers, and the answers don’t always correctly answer the question you selected, with no recourse other than selecting “this solved my issue”

This app works, but the UI makes it difficult to answer simples questions like “When will my vehicle start charging?”For example, the message “Not charging - No smart charge planned or being delivered” is shown immediately after plugging in my vehicle during peak hours. But this isn’t actually correct - I’m using Eversource managed charging, and charging will in fact start during off-peak hours.I wish the app would be clearer about this and differentiate it from the condition of “Your car is plugged in, but something is wrong with managed charging and it will not start charging later tonight” which has also happened to me a couple of times.

I was genuinely excited to try this app, especially since it was promoted by my local electric company. They did pay out the initial incentive, which gave me confidence—at first. But I quickly became concerned when I realized they required my Tesla login credentials, giving them full access to my vehicle’s controls, location, and data. That crosses a serious privacy and security line.One time, I urgently needed to charge, but since it was peak time, they cut off access—which left me stranded and disrupted my plans. Even worse, I was shown an active $1 incentive that was supposed to pay out last month, and it never came. When I reached out, their support team claimed it was a “false” incentive and that nothing was owed. So not only was there zero actual benefit for the month, but the service team was dismissive and unhelpful, offering nothing more than a generic apology.I’m done with the app. I’m revoking their access to my vehicle and would caution others to think twice before giving up that level of control and personal data. This service is unreliable, and the risk is not worth it.

I recently installed this app, and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. Firstly, I attempted to change my settings but was unable to do so. Ever since the installation, my home charger has not been responding the way it used to.Additionally, I can’t remove my vehicles without contacting support and waiting for a response, which feels unnecessary. Why can’t I manage that myself? I also wanted to increase the amperage on my charger to 48a, something I could easily do before installing the app, as I need my vehicle fully charged for the next day. Now, the app has blocked my charger from charging at a higher amperage.I’ve requested to close my account, and I was informed that it takes up to 7 days to process. Overall, this has not been a good experience, and I find the app to be quite useless for my needs. I hope improvements are made soon.
