This could be a great app....could be a great service but isn't. Why, you ask? Because Adobe has built the entire workflow based on a false assumption: that every potential signer has an email address. I realize that it is increasingly rare for someone NOT to have an email address, but there is a huge market segment that doesn't. Consider the elderly, for example. I work for a Meals on Wheels service and our case managers must be able to obtain a signature on the application from the individual when they are at their home. But the Adobe Fill and Sign service requires that you enter an email address for each signer. So, although the app does allow for "in person" signing, you can only access the signature page after having specified the email address of the signer. If the app would allow for an individual's identity to be entered with the name and address vs. email, the app could completely revolutionize our workflow. But as it is, it doesn't help us one iota. This seems like such an obvious thing that it is difficult for me to fathom that this isn't an option. The other signing services we have looked at, including the excellent "SignEasy" app, allow it. Maybe Adobe will read this review and consider adding alternative ways to specify an identity besides email......or maybe they won't. I am sure that their competition like Docusign and Echosign are happy to scoop up the customers who are left behind by this poor decision.

Adobe makes strong products. However As a cc subscriber I find the experience endlessly frustrating. the motivation to innovate and improve experience for its users seems 2nd to collecting more users and subscriptions and subscriptions on top of subscriptions. It’s as bad as everyone said it would be when the model switched. Endlessly signing into accounts and on mobile it’s the same. More important however is I cannot use adobe to collaborate or connect with clients because it requires signing up for at least an ID. I don’t think it’s much to ask if a client but as a creative provider my job is take steps away and make things easier and not encumber clients with steps. I have clients that even use cc but when it comes to PDFs need or prefer other platforms because they are simply easier to use.This specific app is fill&sign and it should simply just do that. I happen to like the way these products work in emailing and collecting signatures but many clients still find it frustrating. There should be 0 frustration involved in ... here’s your file, sign here and return yet it’s still unintuitive. I have a client right now using a form I created through adobe that they need people to sign on site. I walked them through acrobat and fill and sign, software they have used before and they gave up on it as an option. I don’t really blame them. They are using Xodo. A solution I think creates other problems but it makes the simple and primary need of simply having someone answer some question and sign a tablet as easy as it should be.

Absolutely horrendous and painstakingly awful to use. I have acrobat pro so should work but you log into an “app” which is really a poorly designed webpage that is turns out to not be mobile friendly. My document was created and sent through the pc acrobat pro. After my clients both signed, I tried to sign the document on the iPhone App Store “app”, Adobe Sign. When I clicked on the View and Sign button nothing happened. It tried several times and even logging out and doing it again and nothing. I clicked on one of the other items it stretched across big and couldn’t see and the “app” would not let me move the screen to see it. I tried this same thing through the “app” on my iPad and the same thing. The other adobe apps and pc version are great but this non-app “app” continues to be a terrible. So many of the other digital signature apps are leaps and bounds better. If I wasn’t so happy with the other adobe products I would switch. Ever since they bought echo sign they have continued to make that part of acrobat pro worse. Adobe should just start over, make a real app and not a crappy web app and keep up product standards like the rest of their products. I have tried using this app several times before and was hoping by now it was better, but it isn’t and decided i had to give my opinion on it. I ended up signing by clicking through the standalone Acrobat app but I still had do have it text me a link to sign but I should’ve been able to do this with the acrobat sign app all in one step. If you don’t need their other products and you only need a document signing app, choose something else.

Adobe recently did updates to their Acrobat and echo sign apps. So far I love the new layouts. The new esign manager is much more user friendly than the echo sign that it replaced. which is perfect for somebody like me that doesn't need to use it that often. prior to this release I was actually using another third-party app for quick signatures. It's nice to see that Adobe is putting more effort into their mobile apps. I have been a creative cloud user since the day it was released and been through all the growing pains from every app that they have. This marks another small step in recent months to finally starting seeing solid functionality between mobile and desktop. As a desktop user I still would like to see a lot more pro features in the mobile apps across the board especially for creative cloud users. I wouldn't be paying 70+ dollars a month if I wanted basic software. Overall this is a great next step in their mobile line.
