Ghost Detector EMF Necrometer
Ratings & Reviews
The description does say that there are subscriptions in the app but it does not say anywhere that you are required to buy a subscription to use the app at all. Generally apps will have a free version and then subscriptions with more features but this is not one of those apps. You must pay to use it at all. That being said the wording should be updated to be more clear that payment is 100% required and there is no free version or trial
Developer ResponseThank you for the thoughtful feedback. We understand your point that the subscription requirement should be made as clear as possible before download and use. The app is free to download, but access to the main features does require a subscription. We appreciate you calling this out and will continue reviewing how we communicate pricing and access more clearly.
Why have it set to free if you can sit in the app expecting to get something and get nothing then realize you’re not getting anything because you have to pay to use it, don’t advertise it basically as free if the second you get into it you have to make an in app purchase for a subscription. Just lies which is rude to the people who are actually hopeful on communicating to a loved one, I should be able to use basic feature of talking to a spirit without paying, I get having to pay for some stuff but basic communication should be free for all lives not faked and for a free app that doesn’t work and one that people say work are always paid for, I get it take time to make these apps but one time purchase sure, subscription though? Insane
I’ve always thought ghost apps were just for fun, but this one made me rethink things a bit. I was walking around my living room with the Necrometer running, and it stayed mostly calm. Then when I stepped into the hallway, it suddenly jumped from green to orange. I thought maybe it was just some electrical thing, so I stepped away and it went back to green. I tried again later that night and the exact same spot triggered it, except this time the spirit box said ‘stay nearby.’ I don’t know if it was coincidence or what, but it actually made me step back. Ever since then, I’ve been checking that spot every couple days and it still reacts there. I’m not saying 100% it’s something paranormal, but it definitely doesn’t feel random.
Developer ResponseThanks for sharing this experience. When the same spot keeps reacting and the spirit box message lines up with it, it makes sense that it would feel real in the moment. Trust what you are noticing and keep exploring the area if it helps you understand the pattern. We appreciate you taking the time to tell us what you felt.
I didn’t trust it after the first time, so I decided to test it properly. I went back to the exact same area on different days and at different times, both during the day and late at night. Every time, the app reacted in that same spot while the rest of the place stayed quiet. What really got me was when it started giving clear words like “stop” and “near you.” At one point it even said “move,” and that honestly scared me enough to run out. I haven’t gone back alone since, but I’m planning to return with my friends because whatever is there feels consistent and real.

I’ve tried a few similar apps and most of them felt noisy or obviously fake. This one feels different. It doesn’t use the microphone, so it isn’t reacting to sound, yet the timing feels more intentional. It stayed in silence at first, then shifted into faint tone and subtle movement, with words like “aware,” “presence,” and “remain” cọming through slowly instead of all at once. It didn’t feel rushed or forced; Cọmpared to other apps, this one feels more controlled and honestly more real, like it’s meant to be used as a tool instead of just entertainment.

I went back to my high school thats been abandoned for years, just to mess around wasnt expecting much. The Necrometer stayed chill at first but when I walked down the science hall it started spiking and then the app said ‘stay away’ I legit froze. I moved toward the stairwell and it said ‘close’ then like 10 seconds later it said ‘far’ like something actually moved or someone walked away?? I took a quick video but my phone kinda glitched, so idkFelt real enough to make me leave quick. App runs smooth tho, surprised how well the EMF worked.
Developer ResponseThanks for sharing your experience! We’re glad the app worked well for you, and we appreciate you giving it a try. Stay safe!
I’m not sure about this app, when I turned it on it started glitching my screen and flashing and turning my flash light on an off. And saying weird things like cold shadow, near whisper feeling, they can see, and fear move? Idk if this is legit or not only giving 5 stars so this comment will be seen. Don’t waste your money

I haven’t picked up anything with the Necrometer yet, but the app runs smooth and feels legit. I check a few rooms every now and then just out of curiosity. Nothing so far
Developer ResponseThanks for sharing your experience! Some places stay quiet, and others can show more unusual readings, so checking different rooms is a good approach. Keep exploring whenever you’re curious you never know when something interesting might show up on the meter.
Now this is sick! Currently on the weekly purchase just to check it out and already getting hits in my 1931 home!!Mostly calm input, but some are strange..Soft Watch careful It’s insideFog lost signalShadow faint Energy gone waitFound denyTons of electric surging thru all this, so I digress in some ways! Camping in the Bennington Triangle this summer tho and will try it there (if possible) for a little extra adventure😅😍
Developer ResponseThanks for sharing your experience! That sounds like an exciting session, especially in a 1931 home. We’re glad you’re enjoying the app so far and getting interesting responses during your use. Have a great time testing it during your Bennington Triangle trip, and please stay safe while exploring.
I want an app that isn’t just bells and whistles for the gullible. There random word responses and nothing make sense that would allude to a kind of commutation. Really disappointing. Also the whole flashy screen thing is distracting, it doesn’t seem like anything from beyond. I hear the channels moving but abandon voice will say phrases or words? Stupid.
