Hiki: Autism ADHD & ND Dating
평가 및 리뷰
First off I feel like you should get more likes instead of five that’s something I really don’t like because usually some dating apps have more likes and stuff like that but honestly, other than that, I do think the app is pretty good and I feel like the concept is actually really good as well and I can respect that anyways I hope you can understand my complaints from Gw
I only started using Hiki many a month & a half ago and so far I’ve enjoyed the experience, have met some interesting people. I think as an App it’s PERFECT, though as the World isn’t built to accommodate us Neurodivergent people we should rebuild the world for ourselves, & educate the ignorant amongst us. So I think Neurodivergent people NEED MORE like Hiki 🙂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙂
As an individual on the spectrum past 15 years or so, I find this app refreshingly original. Facebook is getting rid of many groups for us on messenger. It is about time that we are heard and understood better! I truly enjoy the way I can act like myself whether it’s crazy or not.
The app is great but it’s extremely expensive. I feel like if it’s an app for people with disabilities there should be ways to accommodate us to be able to connect without having us throw money like millionaires. Yeah, the outside world is a thing but can make us highly vulnerable to judgement or harassment in social settings. This would be a perfect and safe place for people with disabilities to connect as a community if we weren’t required to toss our savings.
This app is just like all the rest. Just enough bots to keep you engaged for long enough to think they are real and then they just disappear. And just enough bots to send you likes to try to get you to buy a membership to find out who they are. All at once all the conversations I was having stopped. Everyone stopped responding. Obviously not a coincidence that many people would stop so there must also be a timeframe in which you could use the app for free before it stops working.
You can only like 5 people a day for free. You can only see the “for you” section for free (so you have to pay in order to see the people just near you. Most people this app is giving me are in other countries). I think this is quite ridiculous. No dating or friend app limits you as much as this one does and no one needs another $10+ subscription. It’s hard enough making friends & dating when neurodivergent , it seems like this app would make this a bit more accessible if you wanted to use it for free
The moderation department on this app leaves a lot to be desired, they actively protect predators and punish people who try to bring said predators to heel by banning them instead. They will silence people when this problem is brought up and they were caught reinstating an account that was caught soliciting a minor inappropriately. Do better Hiki. Not to mention many updates that cause more bugs than they fix. Plus the recent update removed the red flag reaction which was key for the community to alert other members of predatory users or behavior. So let me ask… Hiki, you want to explain yourself?
I was really excited for this app. It’s been challenging for me to make friends and I had a lot of hope. Unfortunately that hope was crushed. This app charges $20/week!!! For all the features that make cultivating genuine friendships possible. You can’t see likes, adjust your preferences or distance ect without paying. There’s a bit of a “social media platform” aspect that some seem to really enjoy. This is useless to me as I do not struggle finding and making friends online, that’s incredibly easy on other apps just using search/hashtags. I joined to make real, physical friends and am severely disappointed.
When it comes to being neurodivergent there are so many different types of people, just like any dating app, but the hard part here is that it’s exceedingly rare to find people who compliment or align to not only your brain type/ personality/ communication style, but are also anywhere near you. This isn’t the app’s fault as this is the inherent struggle we face in the real world, but you have to be patient and a little lucky to meet someone you can actually click with. I happened to make a couple connections and one that truly seems promising and almost like talking to another member of my tribe for once, but they live 350 miles away. Thankfully we are both open to whatever comes of our connection and wouldn’t mind travel, especially since we are both near major airports, but I recognize this is super rare. Especially for both parties to find each other not only cognitively, but physically attractive. You have to get creative to even match with people if you’re not willing to pay exorbitant rates. It’s possible with some work, but the match system is not effective at all for the free version.
They don’t like when you post about how premium is not worth it and this review will also probably get deleted as well but also I’ve waited over 48 hrs for the drivers license photo to be verified and have even emailed them and no response. So is premium worth all the hype mm erm I guess if you actually get someone to like your bio or pictures I guess but they still end up ghosting you so if you want better options to meet people or talk to people I’m guessing you’re better off sucking it up butter cup and going to a bar just to get some soda pop or cup of water and pretending to be drunk and having major anxiety while attempting to talk to people like the little woodland creatures you are “I’m speaking 3rd person cause I’m to weird to make actual friends except making friends with jumping spiders and talking to rabbits and squirrels” anywho I’m rambling here and still have no human friends and wasted $20 on a weekly premium subscription I might as well make friends with homeless people and give them $20 to be my friend at this point
