I'm absolutely delighted! This is a great app that helps me a lot. I've been learning new words with it for over three months now – I'm making progress, and the words actually stick in my memory. The only thing is that the translations in the flashcards aren't always accurate in my native language, so I have to double-check them in dictionaries or other sources. But overall – it's fantastic! And I don't mind paying for it at all. Huge thanks to the developers ❤️

I’ve been looking for a flashcard app to increase my Spanish vocabulary. This app is basically perfect. It comes with preloaded lists, it lets you decide how many words you want to learn per day, and it has a review feature for quizzing newly learned words. Thank you developer!

This is a very easy and fun way to incorporate learning Spanish words into my daily routine. Words I struggle with, I attempt to type out. If I am close, but not quite, I hit the “Missed It” button and try again when it cycles back to that word. Words I’m confident with, I say out loud, then hit the “👁️” button, confirm I was right, then press the “Got It!” button. I like how the app tracks your streaks and charts how many words you’ve learned, already knew and reviewed each day. It only takes a minute or two of attention each time you review and it’s a nice way to take a mini-break from whatever you might be doing at work each day. I miss a day or two here and there, if I’m incredibly busy/ not in the mood, but it’s not demotivating when I do and it’s not at all daunting to pick back up. I also like that if I have spare time and no more words to review at the end of a day, I can always flip through the flashcard deck. I think I’ve learned about 200 words (some I knew but wasn’t familiar with the spelling on so I accepted them) in less than a month, and I’m pretty confident in my ability to recall the words, without much effort. It honestly feels good to use this app and gain a wider knowledge of the Spanish language. I definitely recommend. P.s. - There’s also a setting you can use to make it so you can’t see the images before revealing the English translation. I find this helpful, because you can find that you’re automatically associating the image with the words when you may not really want that hint.

Once you’ve completed your set of new words you can’t swipe back through the learning for those words to repeat the learning—your only option is to move to a brand new set of words. If you do want the option to repeat the learning, you have to do it BEFORE you complete your set, but even then you can’t flip back through your cards in order, instead it gives you words in a random assortment of words whether you swipe forward OR backwards. You can select “review” mode, but the app locks you out for a sequence of increasing intervals 10, 30, 60, 120 minutes etc.. Most annoying, the app sent only 3 out of 10 new words set to the review bank, and disappeared the other 7 assuming (for some reason) that I was done learning them. So I cannot review those 7 nor are they available in learning mode because the set “completed”—only the next set of 10 words are available. I want to be able to go back through all my learning in order AND use “review mode” my words whenever, as often, and for as long as I like. This is one of the worst learning apps I have ever used. I paid for a year but I will be cancelling my subscription and deleting it immediately.

I really like this flash card app. It reminds me a little bit of Anki, but without the need to search for relevant decks of cards, or make your own. Love that each word is pronounced for you! One improvement I’d like to see is example sentences for each word, instead of just top 1000 (?). There should be a way to have AI generate sentences, or pull them from a dictionary, or something. Take notes, developers!🙃Other than that, I’d say it’s a perfect app. I love that there’s an option to mark that you already know the word, and then it doesn’t count towards your memorization goal for the day. I’ve only been using this app for about a week , but so far it has not disappointed! The price is fantastic; I paid $8 for a year subscription! Language learning can be expensive, so I’m always hesitant to buy new apps, and a lot of good ones tend to be 8-10/month. I believe there is also a free version with a limited number of words you can memorize per day.

This app is very good. It is simple, easy to use, and effective. I have used many apps that are far more complex and yet not nearly as effective in helping build vocabulary. My only suggestion would be to either enable users to upload their own pictures when making new flash cards or to browse more extensively through the system’s photo catalog (the overall selection offered by the system is expansive but, when making a new word entry, it locks you into a smaller set of options - seemingly based on what the word looks like it would mean in English - that the app thinks would be appropriate, when often they are not). Because of this limitation, I have had to leave most of my new word entries with out pictures because there were either no suggestions presented by the system or the suggestions were inappropriate. If you fix this, you will have a nearly perfect app.

Very easy to use. Really like the option of having the word pronounced. Also, the option to select from four possible answers helps when I can’t quite put my finger on the correct answer. Very nice to have words I have identified as not memorized yet be repeated frequently to help get the word pounded into my memory quickly. I will say the one part that is frustrating as a beginner is having multiple Spanish words associated with one English word. As someone looking to just learn basic conversational Spanish, it would be easier in the beginning to just have one Spanish word associated with one English word. But overall, I am enjoying this method of learning Spanish.

First off, I didn’t like that it wanted me to buy it before even trying the app. I signed up for the free trial and immediately canceled so I wouldn’t get charged. Kind of a pain. Never even seen what this app can do or what it looks like… why would I want to buy it already?I found the app to be extremely unintuitive. I figured out how to have it show me 5 words, but new words weren’t being added into the fold. I also didn’t like the placement of the buttons in the flash card section… it was not really conducive to quickly cycling through words. I went through the options a little bit to try to figure out how this app is supposed to work. Didn’t really figure it out… don’t really have the patience or time for that. I guess I’ll try a different app or just keep making my own flash cards.

If I could design my own app to help me learn Spanish, this is pretty much exactly what it would look like. I've tried a lot of apps but they all have too many features... I just wanted a simple flashcard set that I could flip through while watching TV or when I have a few extra minutes on the bus. It has a ton of words and categories but you can always add more if you want. Very easy to customize the settings. This app is helping me get from intermediate to advanced, but it'd be great for beginnings too. It won't help much with grammar but it's the best for growing your vocab. Thanks to the designers for this app!

I’ve recommended this app to several of my friends for their versions of language learning. It’s system of helping me memorize in certain categories is amazing! I love how customizable it is for how many words I want to learn in a day. I really feel like I am remembering the words and WANT to come back to review what I’ve learned. My only issue is I’ve accidentally swiped a word or two saying that I knew it while I did not know it and I don’t know how to get it back into the pool of words to learn. The paid version is definitely worth it.
