Thank you for contacting us with this issue. This should not be the case, as the app is completely free to use. When you launch, however, you get the option to choose between personalised ads, non-personalised ads and no ads. This is due to the GDPR laws that have recently been implemented. If you select no for personalised ads you can still use the app for free by selecting non-personalised ads. Only if you want to remove the ads then you have to pay for the app.I hope this clears things up, and want to apologise for any caused inconvenience.
