I am very satisfied with the experience of using this app, doing everything Billion times to remember for sure, especially I love the part with pronunciation where they check how good you do it, but it’s too expensive for me, so I’m not gonna keep doing it

The content is great but the mobile app is very buggy. Sometimes audio recognition doesn’t work however I try to say it, sometimes it just “recognizes” from the outside noise without me speaking it. Did you know iOS SDK offers speech recognition to the apps? Sometimes the app forgets my progress of a lesson. Sometimes it’s unusable after rotation. And the biggest one - once it dropped any notion of my subscription. And reverted my progress so now I have to redo what I have already done which is boring. When I wrote To support I got an automatic response “reinstall app etc”. And I bought a new sub and guess what! 1-2 weeks later they charged me for the previous sub! Common guys! With all the $10/month subs, I don’t think you’re so poor that you cannot hire normal developers who will do unit and integration testing for the most important parts of the app. It’s disappointing to switch back to Duolingo after paying you like $150 total already. I’ll ask for a refund.
Terrible speech recognition

Bought a lifetime subscription a few years ago, and it’s the third time I start and quit after several days because of terrible speech recognition — it’s just non-existent, and blocks my progress, because otherwise I have to skip the whole days. The experience with it is awful — it says a word, and then waits, and I repeat the word like 10 times with no feedback, not understanding of it can’t hear me or if it doesn’t understand me (even with the simplest words), after 10-20 repetitions (during which you start to feel dumb) it suddenly recognizes prononciation with high degree of certainty. It’s so annoying and frustrating to sit on every word for a few minutes repeating a word dozens of times. Quitting again.
Microphone and Layout glitches

The app does not recognize my voice over AirPods. Sometimes it says that my microphone provides low quality audio, although nothing has changed, and sometimes the layout gets messed up. Very helpful app overall, I hope they’ll fix these issues.
