I do not recommend the tiktok program to anyone. My thirteen-year-old daughter made an account for herself. To which tiktok said that she is not thirteen, but we were denied hair removal. I do not see the point in continuing to work with this program if they believe that everyone who looks 10-12 years old at the age of 13-14 are children who do not have the right to use their account. My daughter created five similar accounts. All five were subsequently blocked. Her phone number was blocked. The account was blocked because her profile indicated that I was her mother. I believe that the TikTok program should improve trust in its users or request a mother's account because I don't find any point in continuing to work this way with this organization because then everyone will just go out my daughter and all her friends are already going to just leave this platform to shoot a video and go to Like, more precisely, my daughter has already done this and her friends want to go in the next couple of days or weeks, so we ask the trustees to do something about it because using the program when it treats children like this who look 12-11 years old is simply unacceptable and no one will want to cooperate with anyone at all and everyone would like to go to higher-quality platforms, but for now I absolutely do not advise anyone to register on this platform

This app is genuinely the worst social media app i’ve ever used. There are TONS of issues, but in this review i’ll only address a few.First of all, i tried to go LIVE on TikTok. It told me to verify my age, and I am over 18, so i said sure. Firstly i tried the age verification, and it told me MULTIPLE times that it couldn’t verify my age. This issue is extremely common. 22 year old people also get restricted and verified as 16, and 17 year old people are verified as 13. What is wrong with this?Then, after my face scans got restricted, i tried using my passport. Guess what? The EXACT same issue. Multiple time, and i mean EVERY time it tells me the same thing “We couldn’t verify your age”. I submitted a support ticket. And a question:: Why is it called a Help Centre and a Support Ticket if it neither helps or supports? Why do we have to be charged real money just to go LIVE? What is the issue with people under 18 and over 13 going live? I understand that there are a lot of hazards, but, like, just ban the people who are BREAKING the rules on LIVE instead of restricting access for everybody else! It’s like this: one person goes LIVE and breaks the rules, while a hundred other people are watching. And instead of just banning the rule breaker, you ban the other hundred while leaving the rule breaker safe!The Hell Centre is useless. The app is uncomfortable. I genuinely cannot use it anymore because of what it is.

It’s supposed to "make your day. Whether you're a sports fanatic, a travel lover, or simply looking for a laugh,However, it’s returning to a place where people make a big incitement to hatred. Moreover, the main reasons why I’m writing it are bullying, age-restricted mature content, and harmful statements towards diverse nations. Most of the users are kids who are under 18, and they could be easily influenced by others' dangerous and terrible opinions about situations in the world: abuse (no matter which exactly), attitude towards others, and so on. Unfortunately, there is no longer any funny or entertaining content. There are themes like war, conflicts, hatred towards people, and more specifically to: Arabs, Ukrainians, Russians, nd Afghans.I’m extremely for sharing experiences, opinions, and facts about the world, but not for harassment. What I expect to see when I open this app is a friendly community, but not people who blame others for no reason and make them feel guilty for no reason. All in all, I experienced as well a great deal of bad words being said to me and would like others not to.

This creates an extremely hostile environment, which can be very damaging, especially for younger audiences.The app is supposed to be a place for creativity and entertainment, but instead it often feels dangerous and toxic. Young users especially are being exposed to harmful ideas and shocking imagery that could have a serious impact on their mental health and safety. The reporting system doesn’t solve the problem either, because even after reporting inappropriate content, it often remains visible.Parents should be especially cautious — this is not a safe space for children or teenagers. TikTok is filled with toxic communities, unsafe content, and an environment that normalizes hate and harmful behavior. I strongly recommend keeping kids away from this app until the company takes real responsibility for its platform.At this point, I believe TikTok is not only disappointing but also truly unsafe, and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

The recent algorithm updates have completely broken the app for creators. Instead of showing content to the target audience like it used to, the algorithm now pushes videos to random, "cold" users who have zero interest in the specific niche and immediately swipe away. This mass of fast swipes instantly ruins the retention rate (dropping it from 35% to 10%), and your broken system wrongfully flags the video as "uninteresting", completely killing the reach.The algorithm now totally ignores high engagement, massive amounts of saves, reposts, and comments from the actual loyal audience. Views have dropped drastically, despite the quality of the content and the hooks actively improving. You are punishing creators because your targeting system forgot how to find the right audience. Fix the algorithm and bring back the interest graph!

I have met an error and messaged to the support on the 2nd of December(Monday). They tried to help me by their default advice (Clean the cache of the app, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile network, update the App). I tried to this once, it did not help to solve my problem, as a result they offered me to create a ticket to the specialised team. As a result I am being ignored since Monday 😃. I have been writing to the support in the Application every day since Monday, I filled the specialised form on TikTok website, I have already created 3 tickets with my issue. Do you think I have solved my problem? You are completely wrong! I still write to the support and try to find a solution of my case, while support just offers me the same ways of resolving my problem as I mentioned earlier.

Hello! I would like to share my story with you. On January 8, my private messages were blocked until January 15 for allegedly violating community rules. I appealed this block immediately after my private messages were blocked, and only recently (5 hours ago) did I receive a response stating that they had determined that my messages did not violate community rules. So what does that mean for me? Those who review appeals don't care about them at all, since they had more than 7 days to review my complaint. What if I had money in my account and they blocked my account? What would I have to do? It turns out that if I get banned, I can't even count on anyone responding to me, which means I can't expect anyone to address my issue, and that's at least disrespectful to TikTok users.
