My experience with this app has been disappointing after so many years of use. When I subscribed to the Premium trial, I agreed, but after a month, I forgot to uncheck the option for further subscription, and $64 were charged without warning, in my opinion. I contacted Apple's refund service immediately the next day after the charge because I didn't plan to use the paid subscription, but they refused the refund. I didn't understand the reason for the refund denial since I hadn't used this service yet and immediately submitted a request for a refund. I am very disappointed.
First, as soon as you sigh in this network, you will be offered from all sides to try the free period of a premium account. These offers pop up so often that you might end up signing up for the free trial by accident! If you agree, then be prepared for the fact that when you sleep, $169 will be withdrawn from your account without a single notification. It is very unpleasant to wake up in the morning and find that such a considerable amount has been debited from your account without asking. In this way LinkedIn makes money from people who accidentally forget to cancel their subscription. Maybe it makes sense to introduce some kind of pop-up notification about the fact that in a few days money for a subscription will be taken? Or at least ask the user for permission?
The app is really useful. It’s convenient when I need to quickly reply to a recruiter’s request or something. Also, I really like how quickly the development team responds. Here’s an example. About a week ago I wrote a review in which I described a pretty nasty issue with the app which persisted for at least two app updates. I received a response from the dev team pretty quickly and then, boom, in two days another app update was published in which the issue was successfully fixed. Thank you for addressing my feedback so quickly.

Really surprised, that I opened a LinkedIn from another side. I was looking for the investment in Cannabis Pharmaceuticals sector and bought Premium in linked. Didn’t have much expectation, but moved forward. Download a Sales Navigator I continue to send my offer to a potential investors and now I have two potential partners for my project in Ukraine. Thanks to App and a big request think more about connections for investors and fund raisers as well as possible partnerships in different fields.
Hi there! I noticed some troubles with posting publications in my iphone 5s. I typed the text, added a photo and tried to make a publication. There was a progress bar but for some reason the app didn’t respond and that affected the whole phone. I needed to reboot my device and try that once again. The effect was the same but two minutes later the second try publication appeared in my profile (I checked that on PC). I wonder if you can do something with that. Thanks!
App, as a browser version, don’t work correctly with Ukrainian language. It says that app language is the same, as in phone, but it’s not. Part of the titles are UA, part of them are EN. If you try web version on Ukrainian, it is opening page on russian. I was googling “Linked in on Ukrainian” and go by that link — not helped.I was trying to add some data through the app, but it didn’t let me. It seems like when your app language is UA, it won’t let you to save changes. But if I change language to EN, it starting to work.
I had my LinkedIn account restricted unexpectedly, despite always using the platform professionally and following all rules. Suddenly I lost access without a clear explanation.I submitted my government-issued ID for verification as requested, but the process has been frustratingly slow and unclear. The support team keeps directing me to an online form that constantly throws errors and won’t let me submit my appeal. I’m also shocked that my second account got blocked as well, which feels unfair since I never tried to violate any policies.Overall, the lack of clear communication and difficulties with support have been very disappointing and unprofessional
I tried to get a refund after the free trial, as I realised I no longer needed the subscription. I requested it right away after being charged, but the support agent said I had already used premium features. Since I submitted the request immediately after the charge, I’m certain that was not possible. I’m not sure what they count as “usage” or what could have triggered it just by navigating from the main screen to the support center. Overall it was a really bad experience - being charged for a full year for features I don’t need
Developer ResponseThank you for your feedback, and sorry for the trouble. You can submit a refund request if you believe you are eligible for a refund using this link: https://lnkd.in/e7sDpX2T. If you need more assistance with this, contact us here: https://lnkd.in/eq8BaDyf. Hope this helps! -NV
My experience with LinkedIn just has been a pure nightmare. The registration was smooth. Then after logging in on my work laptop with the VPN connection my account got blocked. Then my e-driving license was rejected twice, I could receive a support message for 2,5 weeks and eventually my account got deleted with all its information without any explanation. To say I’m frustrated is not to say anything especially given the urgency of getting connected with a person on the platform. Now trying to create a new account but the email confirmation letter does not go through. I’m not sure I have any desire to continue with the service.
LinkedIn claims that requesting identity documents with personal data is done “for security reasons.” In reality, this approach is both illogical and unsafe.I am unable to access my account even when using Face ID on an iPhone, a secure, system-level biometric authentication provided by Apple. Despite this, the app requires me to upload and show a passport or other government-issued ID containing sensitive personal information. This raises a fundamental question:what kind of “security” is this, if:•biometric authentication is ignored;•account access remains blocked;•and users are forced to share highly sensitive identity documents with a third party instead. What is the purpose of collecting passport data if it does not restore access, but instead creates additional privacy and data-leak risks? This practice undermines user trust and appears to be an unjustified misuse of personal data. I expect transparent, proportional, and privacy-respecting account recovery methods that do not require uploading identity documents.
Developer ResponseThank you for sharing your feedback on this. Member privacy is a top priority for LinkedIn. The Safety and Recovery team requests ID verification to ensure only the rightful account holder regains access to their account. The system we use for verification processes encrypted scans of your government-issued ID and only holds onto it for a short period while the issue is being resolved. Once resolved, scans and any associated personal information are permanently deleted within 14 days. -EB
