Having used Premier Pro for many years and working in post production (Using pro tools such as Avid and Final Cut) I was pleasantly surprised by the feature set of Lumafusion 5.0 and the ease with which it works on my Ipad. It won’t beat a fully professional suite of tools by any stretch but what it does it does well. There is also plenty of tutorials and support which is great and the documentation is pretty thorough. Overall it is fun to use, integrates other collateral well and has more features than most casual users will need. I would say you can make a fully professional output with the toolset and the only limitations (apart from grading and audio tools which are pretty basic) is the Ipad itself. This is only going to get better with time.

Only had the product (and first Apple device) for a few days, already edited and rendered two professional videos ... Have made no attempt to read any instructions or seek assistance (wanted to see how intuitive the software was/is) ... So far I am absolutely delighted! ... Using 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 and LumaFusion makes creating/editing videos a breeze ... Price of this level of software (compared to my previous Windows software) is very low cost ... Special thanks to whoever created LumaFusion, keep up the good work.

I’ve been using this app for awhile now and I am really the mulitple range of effects but I would love a shockwave effect that can be added by default as using green screen ones don’t capture the whole shockwave smoke effects in HD and it is very choppy on edges, please think about this as it would help a lot in my video editing if this was a default effect and I would be happy to promote it!

Probably the best, easiest, most intuitive editing app I’ve used, and for the last year the only thing I’ve used to do my videos appear from the rare occasion I pull the project into FCP for something oddball. Looking forward to seeing a native MacOS and Windows version one day

hey luma fusion team. Thanks for making such a great editor for iPad and I really love it but there’s a problem I am encountering on my first time of editing up here on my all new device. At the end of the rendering process it comes up with an error of uploading video.. saying that “ cannot open this media may be damaged” sorry but please fix this ASAP. I tried everything I can possibly think off. I bought iPad because I like how they showcase that iPad just get your stuff done.So please fix it quick.

Sophisticated multi track editing approaching desktop level and even easier to use with the new interface. More features like Stabilising to come. Definitely worth the buy if you want to make video stories and control the detail. Great support including forum.

Absolutely fantastic app. It’s totally changed my workflow for home video editing, and I now barely ever have to leave my phone or iPad. It’s one of those apps that’s essential if you want to get excellent quality footage out with the minimum amount of fuss.

Love this app but so many bugs with new update! I can’t reverse anymore nor does my Samsung ssd drive show up and yet it is connected to the iPad. Please fix! Pretty much can’t do anything right now. Just lucky I almost completed a project before an installation this week or I would be so screwed.Would gladly have given a 5 star but not right now.

I’d like to say thank you for the update team!Shortcuts for different language has been improved but it still doesn’t really work if you keep switching language for titles. Could you check on the please? This is really really uncomfortable. Thank you!

Initially a very promising app featuring a lot of functionality that you can’t find in other mobile video editors. However this app is expensive, and for the amount of times it has crashed on me during editing and export, I’m not impressed. At this price I expect something that is rock solid stable and dependable. Currently stuck with a video project that will not export due to crashes early on in the render.
