Love all the features the app offers! However navigating is sometimes a bit counter-intuitive and i would love a bit more of a ‘cozy’ feel to it.

Edit 2025: TSG is making some great improvements, so I added a star. When it proves to be a complete social platform as well I’ll give it 5 stars. 2022: There’s still a lot missing, like a lot of community based activities and social interaction, so I still need GR. Also the interface doesn’t work for me as well.Last but not least, you don’t get notifications in your app (so I missed the January Pages Challenge 2022 for instance).

We've just added a new buddy reads feature, where you can read books alongside friends or other community members and discuss them. We hope you like it!Regarding notifications, do you mean push notifications? We have in-app notifications, where we send out product updates and news of friend requests or buddy reads. We sent one out for January Pages, though that won't have been seen by anyone who joined in the last week. If you've been tracking your reading every day so far in January, you can still join the challenge and be eligible for the prizes. If you don't have the January Pages notification, contact us via the app and we'll send you the link to join the challenge.

The app is slow, freezes often, and the usage is not intuitive. It feels like it was designed years ago. Adding books is a hassle, and personalized recommendations barely work. Expected better than Goodreads, but it’s the same.

Please email us at support@thestorygraph.com for help. This does not seem like the typical user experience at all. Also, I'm a one-person dev team. There's a lot I've got to do with UI and UX, and I'm working on it and there has been a lot of progress, but some things will take time.

Storygraph is such a good app. Love the stats, the recommendations, and the easy way to choose or add specific editions, among many other things. And the small (non-Amazon!) team behind it is constantly asking for use feedback and making improvements. Highly recommend!
