This app is brilliant, I have the pro version on my phone but the free one is amazing enough for beginner editing. It is extremely easy to navigate and I’d consider purchasing pro for assignments because it is totally worth it! The pro version can be charged weekly too, which I think is brilliant because you can subscribe and work on your project for a week and not have to pay for let’s say a month’s worth of time that will be wasted. Another thing I love about this app is that it doesn’t stick a pesky watermark on your videos which makes me more than glad to tell my friends what app I use that is so amazing.
Very Easy To Use, but A Pain when editing video, the subtitles doesn’t follow original time line!

As stated above, this feature needs to be updated, so that every time we edit our videos, we don’t have to go through the pain of moving every single subtitles to fit the edited timeline just because we’ve cut the clip or moved the clips around. - this was updated!Also, please allow the app to retain memory of our watermarks, so that we don’t have to do it again and again each time we use the app.One more thing, when we cut off a segment of video, please move along with the clip, it currently stays at the same spot, meaning when a clip is cut, the next clip goes way before the cursor or whatever you call it.Please come up with a desktop version compatible with phone and tablet, it’s a pain to edit in the phone and tablet at times.

I’ll start off with the positives - there’s a big gallery of great background music, it is quite easy to navigate and a great introduction to beginners in video editing.HOWEVER, the constant updates and additions and the supposed “bug fixes” sometimes deletes my videos before I get to save them and I won’t be able to retrieve them. Furthermore, I can’t seem to save this current video either as it says there’s an error.The Splice team isn’t the most receptive either via email. Please, do better. RM 260 is expensive and I want to have a good experience and to be able to choose Splice over any other editing apps. But these constant updates and crashes leave me frustrated and disappointed. Do better.
