Terrible matchup & in-game performance

This game is good. But it’s frustrating as there’re a lot of paywall. Granted, I even bought some just to proceed with the game. However, what’s even worse is the in-game performance. Having a bad matchups will causes me to lose. Had a good matchup still lose. Checked on debrief, I just can’t understand the mechanics of score for the drivers & cars. Eg: my team score was more than the opponent, on debrief, drivers and car performances were totally higher than opponent. But ended up losing the race? Were there any advantages on having higher score?? What’s the purpose of having better scores then? Now this feels like a rip-off coming from your end, Hutch!

Thanks for your feedback! It's possible to get items and coins for free by watching ads, spinning the daily spin, opening crates and of course by racing also! The in-app purchases are optional and you can progress in the game and have fun without it. Check out our Discord for more help from the community! :) Your Team Score is the total value of all the stats on your Components and Drivers added together and is used during the Matchmaking to find you a suitable rival. Having a higher Team Score than you rival will not guarantee you an easy win. While stats are indeed important, your strategy and how well you manage the race play a big part as well. Terrible matchup & in-game performance

This game is good. But it’s frustrating as there’re a lot of paywall. Granted, I even bought some just to proceed with the game. However, what’s even worse is the in-game performance. Easily one of the most infuriating games I’ve ever played. The game will match you up with someone who has a FAR GREATER rank than you and have better drivers than you that will absolutely destroy you in qualifying e.g. I have a level 5 Kvyat and a level 2 Ricciardo while my opponent has what I’m assuming is a level 5 Perez and a level 4 Vettel (give our take) so I’m getting a P19 and P15 grid start while my opponent gets P1 and P2 grid start!!!! There’s basically no point in me playing that match anymore because it’s an instant loss!!!!! And this always seems to be the case for me!!!! The drivers’ stats doesn’t mean a thing in the game e.g. Ricciardo has a overtaking and defending of 79 and 78 respectively but whenever there is a gap or opportunity for him to overtake another driver he just doesn’t and the other drivers overtake him much much more easily. Because of this ridiculousness, I lost all my coins and went from having 500k all the way to a miserable 500 that I can’t do anything with especially since I don’t have ang crates to open to gain money. So all I can do is wait for the free coins and free crate or buy coins!!! 🖕🏾 here u go

Car performance statistics doesn’t reflect to on track performance

Having a good set of drivers and a good car with a high team rating against opponent doesn’t necessarily guarantee a win. I’ve matched up with opponents with over 20-30 PI points MORE than my opponent yet my opponent is the one who ends up winning? It doesn’t make sense. Then when I have an opponent where I am 20-30 PI points LOWER i end up WINNING? so tell me Hutch how on earth does that work, should I purposely have a low rated car and hope that my opponents are higher so that I win? which defeats the whole R&D development phase in-game? or have a high rated car but absolutely always lose races to people with lower rated cars. Absolutely disappointing

In general, as you progress through the Series, if you continue to build upon your load out as you unlock new assets of differing rarities and series unlock levels, you should naturally find opponent of a team score likewise to yourself. I just started playing F1 Clash and after two weeks, I’m already extremely frustrated. The game feels heavily pay-to-win — upgrading a single driver can cost nearly a million coins, making it nearly impossible for free players to compete. For free-to-play players, progression is painfully slow, which makes the game feel more like a grind than fun.On top of that, matchmaking seems unfair. My team score is 516, yet I often lose to opponents with much lower scores, like 473. This imbalance makes races feel discouraging and reduces the enjoyment of playing.I love the concept of F1 Clash, but the combination of slow free progression, overly expensive upgrades, and inaccurate matchmaking makes the game frustrating. I hope the developers can address these issues to make the game fairer and more enjoyable for everyone.

Let me address some of the points you had raised for you :) The upgrade costs of Drivers and Components will depend on their rarity, unlock series and the level of the upgrade. Drivers and Components with higher rarities and Series unlocks, as well as upgrading assets to higher levels, will lead to more powerful assets, so may have higher upgrading costs. You may not be able to upgrade all your assets to higher level straight away - as you progress through the game, the more Coins you will win from higher Series wins! For matches, you can win against an opponent with a higher team score, just as you can lose against someone with a lower team score. Team score alone will not determine a win (otherwise there would be no point in racing!). Total team score will display your driver and component stats combined, but often is not indicative of true performance. For example, you could have a lower team score than an opponent, but if they have not tailored their loadout towards the circuit, they may have lesser performance in the race compared to yourself. The best way to tailor your loadout is towards the track stats for each series. It is also important to remember stats only make up a part of a race win, the strategy you take within the race including pit stop and tyre management is also key!
