I have a very serious privacy concern on this app from China. This app has obviously encourage the user can only talk “positive thing“ about China communist government. Because once you talk “negative thing“ about them，you will easily get block by this app. Moreover，this app need the user to log in via their phone number or even their identity card. I think these actions may cause serious privacy concerns especially this is a China app. It is very obvious that this app only copy the “rules and conditions in China” and paste it at other democratic country without change it to a more suitable version for democratic countries. Also, even you have change the app language to English, but the customer service still only support and reply in mandarin language only. After I stated out my these concerns, I think Apple should consider and take any possible actions to deal with this issue, protect the users’ privacy and also defend the democratic values. My account is now no longer searchable, and I can’t even send private messages to my friends.I have no idea what triggered these restrictions, and there has been no clear explanation from the platform.Besides this issue, I’ve also experienced frequent app problems, including the app freezing, messages failing to send, and other technical issues. Now, having my account suddenly restricted without any apparent reason has made the experience even more disappointing.I sincerely hope RedNote can investigate my case, provide a clear explanation, and improve both the platform’s stability and its account review process. Translation used to work every time (auto-generated video captions) and now it only works on and off when it feels like it. It’s genuinely infuriating and makes the app almost unusable for me. I’ve contacted support so many times and just get the same roundabout answer from the chat bot, and then when they finally tell me they’ll escalate the issue and a human will get back to me in 48 hours, it never happens. This cycle has happened multiple times. I’ve tried every possible fix and am constantly updating. This is my main social media now and the fact that you still haven’t fixed this issue that’s been going on for almost a month is really upsetting.
