NotebookLM is a really great tool, and I truly appreciate Google for developing something like this for students. It has been very helpful in my studies. I often record my classes and upload my notes, and NotebookLM does an excellent job of explaining my teacher’s words in a structured format, almost like handwritten notes.The features such as creating slides, generating short notes, and especially the mind maps are all top-notch and very useful for studying and revision.I would like to make one request. On the web version, we can drag and drop elements easily, but this functionality is not yet available in the mobile app. It would be great if Google could add drag-and-drop support in the app as well, similar to the NotebookLM web interface.Overall, it’s an amazing tool and extremely helpful for students.Thankyou.

It’s an amazing app and I love every bit of it. I just want three things.1. Mapify: Actually in the iOs version the Mapify option isn’t available. I would love, by that I mean love, if you please put that on iOs2. The chat and the video overview: See, the detail standard doesn’t work that much to my expectations. I would love if the chat gave us study methods to improve our understanding. Also I would love if you allowed putting in presentations as sources. In video overview other than understanding I would love if you advanced it a bit to really make the retention 100%3. Papers- I would also love if you put in a feature to generate actual question papers ranging from all sorts of questions.4. Glitch- there was a glitch wherein I had put on all the sources and prompts and was in a hurry as I had a test the next day and when I got the notification that my infographic was ready I clicked on it and I saw there wasn’t any notebook tho I had saved it and also a notebook that I had deleted days ago suddenly reappeared. I had to do everything over again and it wasted my time I was very dissatisfied and disappointed and annoyed I hated it.I love this app though. Just a tiny few suggestions. 4 stars.

I really want to love NotebookLM on iPhone. The core idea is great, and the app itself feels clean, fast, and genuinely smart. Asking questions, getting summaries, and understanding notes is smooth and actually helpful. It doesn’t feel gimmicky, which is a big win.That said, using it on iPhone sometimes feels like you’re getting the “lite” version.The biggest letdown is no Google Drive support yet. The web/desktop version has it, so not having it on iPhone is frustrating. Manually uploading files every time breaks the flow and just feels outdated.I was also surprised there’s no option to create mind maps in Studio. For an app focused on learning and thinking, this feels like a missed opportunity—especially for people who learn visually.And then there’s the infographics option in Studio, which… just doesn’t work. The button is there, but nothing happens. It’s confusing and makes the feature feel unfinished.Overall, NotebookLM on iPhone has a strong foundation, but it’s missing some important pieces. Once it catches up to the desktop version and these features actually work, it could easily be amazing. Right now, it’s good—but not quite there yet.
