I rarely write reviews, but this app has genuinely saved me so many hours. Between shooting events, editing portraits, and trying to keep local business social pages active, I don't always have the time to fire up heavy desktop software just to put together a quick reel or touch up a promo shot.The AI tools are actually surprisingly good. I use the magic eraser all the time to quickly clean up distracting backgrounds in shots before sending sneak peeks out to clients. The video editor is also super intuitive—I can stitch together event b-roll, sync it to a trending audio track, and export it in like ten minutes while sitting in my car after a shoot.Is it going to completely replace my high-end editing software for massive projects? No. But for churning out quick, professional-looking content, designing quick logos, or making posts to keep your digital presence visible, it’s totally unbeatable. The interface is clean, it rarely crashes on my phone, and it syncs perfectly so I can pick up where I left off later. Highly recommend it if you’re a busy creative!

Difficult to use. Unreliable outputs

So I am Canva Pro customer and I have been a pro customer for years now. I downloaded the app on my Ipad thinking I’d get 50% of the seamless experience like on the laptop but NO. I’ve been using the video editor on Canva ever since it’s release to make some really basic videos for social media, the worst part of getting an output is, a) I cannot preview the video properly whatsoever on the app and sometimes even on the laptop, so I have to download the video to check for errors, b) the audio output always turns out different than the timeline set. Despite of splitting audio and turning the volume down and many other things, it gives some random output that I never set, not to mention the audio loops by itself! I can’t begin to tell how inconvenient that has been and the delays it causes. Not to mention the difficultly to make even the minutest changes on static creatives. I understand it maybe supremely difficult to give the exact experience but I have been finding myself asking people not to download because of the usability on the Ipad itself.
