Shocking app experience! Think twice.

Using this app has been a nightmare. The number of bugs and the kind of bugs it has is unbelievable.For example, it has a screen displaying the calendar and the number of days you were physically active.On that screen, according to the app, 1 Feb, 2023 is a Tuesday! (It was a Wednesday)At the top it shows I was active on 4 days. At the bottom of the same screen it shows that I was active on zero days!On the Home screen, it shows yet another number of days active. And this is after ‘syncing’ the app multiple times and waiting for the sync to reflect.This is just one example. Too many others to write in this review.Another major one is, according to the number of days active, you get some cash that you can use towards renewing the policy.I wasn’t able to use it as advertised when I renewed my policy because they were migrating their technology and there was a technical difficulty in utilising the cash.Though the insurance product is good, the technology experience has been abysmal! And this has been the case for over a year now.It seems there isn’t even basic testing that’s done before releasing the app (updates).I would advise that anyone think twice before you buy their health insurance especially if you are particular about ease of access and use through technology and their Active Dayz program.
Worst Health Insurance Experience – False Promises and Extremely Poor Service

I had a very disappointing experience with Aditya Birla Health Insurance. The company made several promises at the time of purchase, but when I actually needed support, none of those promises were fulfilled. My medical reports were not provided on time, which caused an unnecessary delay in my treatment. This kind of negligence is unacceptable when someone’s health is involved.The customer service is poor, and the overall experience is simply not worth the money. The sales agents are especially disappointing—they lack proper knowledge about the policies and processes, often providing incorrect or incomplete information. Instead of helping customers, they create more confusion.I expected a reliable health insurance provider, but unfortunately, this company failed to deliver even basic service standards. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Aditya Birla Health Insurance to anyone looking for dependable health coverage.

This review is based on a real medical emergency and my first-ever claim experience after maintaining the policy continuously for years.When my mother was hospitalized in severe pain, with doctors clearly stating that admission was medically necessary, Aditya Birla Health Insurance rejected the cashless request claiming the treatment “could have been done on OPD basis.” This decision was made despite detailed medical records, investigation reports, and a written justification from the treating doctor.What was most disturbing was how the insurer appeared to override and question the doctor’s judgment without ever examining the patient or coordinating meaningfully with the hospital. Repeated calls, document submissions, and follow-ups led nowhere. There was no empathy, no accountability, and no real medical review ,just rigid rejection.Because of this denial, we were pushed into extreme financial and emotional distress and even had to reconsider ongoing treatment. Health insurance is meant to protect families during crises, not add another layer of trauma.This experience has shown me that while policy features look attractive during purchase, the real test is during claims and this insurer failed that test completely.I would strongly urge anyone considering this app to look beyond marketing and understand the real world claim experience before trusting it with their family’s health.
