The last months updates made the app much worse. Most annoying: on opening channels with multiple unread messages, they are often scrolled down and marked as read. It happens in half times. Consider my typical use case: I have a 5 minutes break to read a few messages, I open the Unread tab, I tap on a channel with 100+ unread messages and I see them scrolled down to the last message, with no way to get back to the next unread message in chronological order, and, even worse, all messages are marked as read. I’m effectively losing the track of channels as I want to read messages from beginning and I want to unread messages to be kept marked unread till I actually read them or explicitly scroll down. I even considering changing to another platform for news. Second. On my iPhone 13 mini, the new floating panel near the bottom became too think and takes too much space on the screen.

The app is great overall with many features, that are not available in other messengers, however in recent updates they keep changing the interface. The original interface was good and convenient, now they just change it every update and it keeps getting worse. I wish there was a way to go to the previous version. Please stop changing the look of the interface.

I really don’t like that chat folders are at the top, interface feels overfilled and sometimes you cant swipe chat to mark as read or archive it. Maybe you should add a toggle to put chat folders at the left as a separate screen, like when you turn on “filter by sender” in default messages app. “Edit” button can be put on next to the “new chat” button.

I especially like the ability to make sub-groups within a group chat.I dislike having certain emojis & reactions locked behind a paywall. Please do something about the random spam accounts sending me messages. I get 3 to 4 messages per week asking if I’m interested in part time work or making money. I don’t know these people.
