It takes a while to collect all the cards which is expected. This does mean that it takes a while to create decks with specific cards. Contradictory to the other post, the game does require a certain amount of skill and strategy to win. There are ways to make your deck to increase the chances of you getting the card that you require. There are also a lot of different tactics you can do with item and support cards. Yes, inevitably luck is part of the game but it does not mean there is 0 skill expression in the game. I would say the only complaint would be the lack of cards but it is understandable since the game has only been recently released. Update: I would like to deny my original claim. After a while of playing, I’ve noticed a trend. Basically everyone runs either gardevoir+mewtwo ex or moltres ex+charizard ex. I think that anyone who isn’t running these duo’s just doesn’t have the cards required and if two people who have these decks meet, it just comes down to luck of who goes second and gets energy first. To explain, the first Pokémon gives the second Pokémon energy and the second Pokémon just hits hard with the cost of losing energy, except it’s basically nullified with getting energy both passively and from the first Pokémon. Energy adding mechanisms are just too OP since they allow one person to unlock much stronger attacks earlier. Please just remove energy giving abilities. Misty most likely needs to be included unless the amount is limited since I’ve seen someone gain 5 energy from 1 misty which is basically Blastoise ex going from 0 damage to 160 damage

I am extremely disappointed and frankly furious with this app. First and foremost, the account linkage and data storage system is absolutely terrible. For a company of this caliber, it’s unacceptable that user data isn’t properly stored on secure cloud servers and easily recoverable — even after accidental or deliberate deletions. This is basic functionality that other competent developers handle without issue.To make matters worse, when you reach out to customer support, their only response is a dismissive “sorry, we can’t do anything” — and they make it crystal clear they will never offer any compensation, no matter how severe the loss.In the end, it feels like the Pokémon company is essentially telling customers: “Pay at your own risk. We refuse to guarantee the safety of your data, and we will not take any responsibility if it disappears.” Of course, they conveniently hide these critical shortcomings until something goes wrong — never warning users upfront when everything seems fine. This level of disregard for paying customers is infuriating and completely unacceptable.
