Start a session and leave the app twice — Capy climbs out of his bath and the session is gone. Stay put and he gets a nicer onsen out of your work.
Work Capy is a focus timer with a capybara who is sitting in a hot spring on your time.
Start a session and put the phone down. Open something else mid-session and you get one warning. Do it again and Capy climbs out of the bath — the session is forfeit and pays nothing. That's the deal, and it's the whole reason it works.
SOMETHING TO LOSE
A timer with no consequences is a stopwatch. Leaving twice ends the run: no coins, and the time doesn't count towards your total. Nothing else is taken — your streak, your coins and everything you've unlocked are untouched. One mistake costs you one session, not your week.
GENTLE MODE
If stakes aren't what you need today, one switch in Settings turns them off entirely and Capy stays put no matter what. The app never decides that for you.
A TIMER THAT TELLS THE TRUTH
The clock runs on real wall time, so locking the phone or force-quitting never loses a minute — and never sneaks you extra. Reopen and you land straight back in the running session.
DESK MODE
Keeps the screen awake and dims everything down, so your phone becomes an ambient desk buddy instead of a thing you pick up.
HE LIVES OFF YOUR FOCUS
Hours you actually put in heat his bath: steam, a floating yuzu, a bird who decides this is the spot, eventually a whole scene. He is not proud of you. He is just very comfortable.
CAPY COINS AND CAPY'S DEN
Every finished session pays out coins. Spend them on hats, sunglasses, outfit recolours and scenes that re-skin the whole app: hot spring, golden hour, night soak and a rainy window.
STATS YOU CAN ARGUE WITH
A seven-day chart, streaks, clean-run counts, and a record of what you actually got done — including the sessions you lost.
NO SOUND, ON PURPOSE
Work Capy plays nothing at all. If you focus to music you already have something better than anything this app could ship, and it stays out of the way.
NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN-UP
Everything stays on your device. It works offline.
PROFESSION THEMES
Capy can be a programmer, a designer, a doctor, a marketer or — regrettably — a vibecoder. Each one re-skins the whole app: his outfit, the scene behind every screen and the name he goes by. Buy one outright, or put the hours in and take it for nothing — thirty hours of real focus earns the first. Any theme also removes the ads and doubles your coins.
These are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Optional coin packs exist for anyone who would rather buy an outfit than earn it. The timer itself is never paywalled, and no ad or purchase can undo a forfeited session.
