TRUE WIND & APPARENT WIND
See both the true wind (straight from Apple Weather) and the apparent wind you actually feel on deck — calculated live from your boat's speed and heading. Point your compass at the horizon and watch both arrows update in real time.
OPTIMAL SAIL ANGLE
Based on true wind, apparent wind, and your current point of sail — close-hauled, beam reach, broad reach, or downwind — WindTalker recommends the sail angle to get the most out of every gust.
RACE START COUNTDOWN
Cycle through 5, 3, or 1-minute countdowns (or an instant "Go"), with a reaction-delay setting that fires the start signal early so you're moving exactly on time. Voice, beep, and haptic cues keep you counted down without ever looking away from the line.
COURSE MARK TRACKING
Lay out your waypoints on iPhone and they sync straight to your watch. Live bearing and distance to your next mark, automatic advancement as you round each one — no more guessing where the next buoy is.
BOUNDARY ALERTS
