What’s New in Version 4.2.1 This update introduces an optional Next Chord Voicing keyboard for Preview and video export. The new full-width keyboard appears below the current voicing and shows the exact notes used by the upcoming chord in the progression. This makes it easier to follow voice leading, identify common tones, and see which notes will move or change register. You can show or hide the next-chord keyboard from Preferences. This version also improves keyboard appearance so your selected highlight color is applied consistently throughout VoicingFlow.

What’s New in Version 4.1.2 Improved altered-dominant chord symbols for clearer, more compact notation. Chords with several altered tensions are now displayed using alt, while any additional natural tensions remain visible. Also fixed backing-track audio and video exports so the complete count-off is included from the first click, while preserving accurate audio and video synchronization.

UI improvements. New collections in the voicing library.

VoicingFlow 3 introduces the new Voicing Library, with curated jazz piano voicing collections you can browse, preview, study, and analyze in context. This version also adds optional audio rendering for video export, so you can export tutorial videos with rendered audio included, or create silent videos if you prefer to add your own audio later. VoicingFlow 3 also includes improved harmonic analysis, clearer Voicing Fit results, and more readable note-label descriptions for chord tones, guide tones, tensions, avoid tensions, and upper structures. Additional refinements improve Free Play mode, Voicing Explorer, Acoustic Canvas, and the theory-aware video tutorial workflow.

VoicingFlow 2 expands the app from a theory-aware MIDI visualizer into a full voicing exploration and harmonic-study tool. New in this version: • Voicing Explorer Choose a chord and discover playable piano voicings that fit the harmony. Set practical left-hand and right-hand ranges, then explore voicing possibilities for the selected chord context. • Reverse Voicing Search Play a voicing and find chords that fit it. This helps you understand where a voicing works, what chord tones or tensions it creates, and how it can be reused in different harmonic contexts. • Acoustic Canvas Video Rendering The Acoustic Canvas can now be rendered to video, letting you create visual tutorials that show not only the notes being played, but also how their partials contribute to the harmonic color. • Expanded Free Play Analysis Use VoicingFlow as a live voicing-analysis environment: play, inspect, compare, and explain voicings directly inside the app. • Updated Pro Access VoicingFlow Pro now unlocks unlimited Voicing Explorer searches, watermark-free video export, and Pro visual options. This is a major step toward making VoicingFlow not just a visualizer, but a creative tool for finding, analyzing, practicing, and teaching piano voicings.

The app can now suggest chords for each voicing using the FIND CONTEXT feature.
