VoicingFlow is a theory-aware MIDI visualizer, voicing explorer, voicing library, practice tool, and 4K video renderer for musicians, educators, and piano tutorial creators.
Open a MIDI file or work directly in Free Play mode, then turn your performance into a clear visual explanation of harmony. VoicingFlow shows animated piano keys, chord symbols, chord-scales, guide tones, tensions, upper structures, voicing labels, cadence analysis, and harmonic context.
Version 4 introduces a complete timeline-based workflow for building, transforming, practicing, and exporting piano voicings.
Generate backing tracks from the harmonic timeline, with bass and drums created from the chord progression. Play them inside VoicingFlow, include or remove the piano lane, and export backing tracks as audio or MIDI.
Turn any selected measure range into a 12-key workout. Choose from multiple modulation patterns and let VoicingFlow create the sequence while keeping generated voicings in a practical piano register.
Use transformation tools to transpose, invert, and create Drop 2, Drop 3, Drop 4, and Drop 2 & 4 voicings. Edit Timeline Frames with undo, redo, duplicate, delete, and insert-before or insert-after commands, then hear each result immediately.
A five-chord context display keeps the current chord centered while showing two previous chords and two upcoming chords, making harmonic motion easier to follow during navigation, playback, preview, and video export.
Voicing Fit evaluates how a voicing works over a chord context. Play a voicing, choose a chord, and see whether the result is Risky, Usable, Strong, or Excellent, with a score and detailed report covering harmonic, register, and acoustic behavior.
Voicing Explorer answers the opposite question: if you see a chord, what voicings can you play? Choose a chord context, set practical hand ranges, and explore playable voicings that fit the harmony.
The Voicing Library includes curated jazz piano voicings you can browse, preview, study, and analyze in context. Acoustic Canvas maps notes and partials into a harmonic view so you can see how a voicing reinforces chord tones, tensions, and colors.
Features include:
• Animated piano keyboard visualization
• Chord symbols, chord-scales, guide tones, tensions, and avoid tensions
• Free Play mode for live voicing analysis
• Timeline Frames editing with undo, redo, duplicate, delete, and insert commands
• 12-key workouts with multiple modulation patterns
• Backing-track generation with bass and drums
• Playback with or without the piano lane

• Voicing Explorer with practical hand-range controls

Unlike generic falling-notes MIDI visualizers, VoicingFlow is built for musicians who need to explain not only which notes were played, but what those notes mean inside the chord and progression.
The free version lets you open demo MIDI files, analyze voicings, try Voicing Explorer, browse the Voicing Library, play generated backing tracks with piano, and export videos with a “Made with VoicingFlow” watermark.
VoicingFlow Pro unlocks unlimited Voicing Explorer searches, watermark-free 4K video export, backing-track playback without piano, Audio and MIDI backing-track export, MusicXML export, and Pro visual options including the White Background creator theme.
Download VoicingFlow and create piano videos that do more than show the notes — they show the harmony behind the music.

What’s New in Version 4.2.1
This update introduces an optional Next Chord Voicing keyboard for Preview and video export.
The new full-width keyboard appears below the current voicing and shows the exact notes used by the upcoming chord in the progression. This makes it easier to follow voice leading, identify common tones, and see which notes will move or change register.
You can show or hide the next-chord keyboard from Preferences.
This version also improves keyboard appearance so your selected highlight color is applied consistently throughout VoicingFlow.
