Tomotomo is a language app where you learn to hold a conversation by actually having one — with a character friend you made yourself.
Japanese, Korean, English, Chinese. Pick the language you want to learn, then create a friend who speaks it. Every friend gets their own language, speaking style and level.

■ Any line you don't get, explained
Tap the ⓘ beside your friend's message for the translation and the words picked out of that sentence. Keep the ones you like with a single tap.
■ Review what you saved
Flip through your saved phrases as cards. They're kept separately for each language you're learning.
■ On your device, with no internet
The conversation runs on an AI inside your phone. Download the engine once on first launch and you can keep talking on a plane or underground. Nothing you say leaves the device.
■ Free points every day
The first time you open the app each day, points are on us. No ad, no connection needed.
The app's own language switches between 한국어 · 日本語 · English · 中文 whenever you like.

· Switch the app between Korean, Japanese, English and Chinese. Each friend can speak a different one.
· The study note is better. Tap the ⓘ beside a reply for the translation and the words picked out of that line, and save any of them straight to your word book.
· Free points the first time you open the app each day. No ad, no connection needed.
· Conversations stay fast however long they get — the way messages are stored has changed.
· If a reply never arrives you can ask again, and when something fails the app now says so.
· Larger text sizes no longer clip the screen.
