TimeStampIt burns the date, time and location into your photos, so a picture of a job site is also a record of when you were there.
The Mac app is built for the media a phone can't handle: folders off a DSLR, a drone, an SD card, or a client's shared drive. Drop one in and every photo and clip comes back stamped and filed.
WHAT GETS STAMPED
Every photo already knows most of this. TimeStampIt reads the capture date and GPS out of each file, looks up the address, and fetches the weather for that place at that moment — then burns it in.

A FOLDER AT A TIME
Drop a folder onto the window — or press ⌘O — and the whole thing stamps at once, photos and video alike. Stamped copies are filed into Pictures › TimeStampIt, a folder per project and a folder per day, organised the way you would have organised them by hand.
NO ACCOUNT NEEDED TO STAMP
Stamping happens on your Mac. There is no sign-in wall in front of the thing the app is for. Sign in when you want photos on the server, on your phone, or in front of a client.
SET UP ONCE, ON EITHER DEVICE
Your stamp — format, position, font, colour, logo — syncs from your iPhone over iCloud. Change it in one place and it follows you.
BUILT FOR TEAMS
Invite people to a team and everyone sees the same projects and the same photos. Share a project with a link that opens for anyone, with no account at the other end.
PROOF IT HASN'T BEEN ALTERED
Every stamped photo is fingerprinted with a SHA-256 as it is written, and that fingerprint is recorded on our servers with the time it arrived. A verification link is embedded invisibly in the file. If a photo is ever questioned, it can be checked against that record.
