How many tiles do I need? Enter your room size, your tile size and your grout width, and get the whole answer in seconds: the base tile count, the extra tiles for cuts and breakage, how many boxes to buy, and roughly what it will cost you at the till.
Most tile maths online stops at square metres and leaves you guessing in the queue at the trade counter. This one goes all the way to the shopping list. The grout gap is folded into the tile area, so the count reflects how tiles actually sit on a floor. You set the waste percentage, you set the tiles per box, and every figure rounds up the way a merchant really sells them. Nothing is hidden behind a black box either: every result screen shows the formula step by step, with your own numbers filled in.

WHY NOT JUST USE A FREE ONLINE CALCULATOR
Because a web calculator gives you one number and forgets it. It ignores the grout gap, it does not know how many tiles are in your box, it will not convert to boxes, it will not price the job, and the moment you close the tab your work is gone.
