Termendous turns your MacBook trackpad into a live musical instrument.
Slide your finger across the trackpad to play notes — the Y axis controls pitch, snapped to your chosen musical scale, while the X axis morphs between waveforms and effects in real time.
Features:
- 11 musical scales: Pentatonic, Blues, Dorian, Mixolydian, Japanese, Arabic, and more
- 12 root notes (C through B)
- Real-time waveform synthesis: sine, triangle, sawtooth, and square wave blending
- Oscilloscope display with CRT-style phosphor green aesthetic
- Note grid with visual reference lines for each note
- Two input modes: Mouse (click and drag) or Trackpad (direct 1:1 position mapping)
- Smooth volume transitions with no clicks or pops
- Low-pass filter and tremolo modulation via X axis
