More reliable Initial Sync After updating, the app performs an Initial Sync the first time it's opened, making sure everything is fully up to date after the upgrade. In rare cases, for example, a temporary network hiccup, this sync could previously fail to complete, which might cause some users to appear as deleted. The Initial Sync can no longer be skipped, and the app will now automatically keep retrying it until it completes successfully, so your workspace stays fully in sync. Whether you're working shifts, rotating responsibilities, or joining temporary teams, Roles ensure you're always in the right conversations at the right time. Note: Roles are available only if enabled by your organization's administrator. • Enhanced audio message experience We've completely refreshed the audio message experience to make it more intuitive, informative, and visually appealing. Audio messages now use Teamwire's new branding colors and feature a modern waveform visualization, replacing the previous progress line. During playback, you can also see both the current playback position and the total duration of the recording at a glance. In addition, audio messages now support adjustable playback speeds. If the mentioned user has muted the chat, the setting will be ignored and they will receive a notification. • Mark all as read Too many chats with unread messages when coming back from vacations? Use the new "Mark all as read" button to quickly clean up your inbox. This option will also appear on the Unread and Archived tab when you have two or more chats with unread messages. • The file size limit for attachments has been increased to 30 MB. • We've made small adjustments to round up the experience on the location/live location map. • We’ve optimized the behaviour and availability of the "Join" button for ongoing voice and video calls. FEATURES AND CHANGES · ArcGIS Maps Teamwire supports ArcGIS Maps as maps provider when sending a POI or sharing your live location. This feature requires to be configured in the Teamwire Dashboard. If enabled, the app will automatically start displaying your ArcGIS Maps layers. · We improved the speed of the initial sync during the login process. We get the information about the Directory section now in a faster way. · AirWatch VMware SDK: We adjusted the app’s behaviour when sharing files with other SDK-managed / unmanaged apps (Open-in restrictions) FIXES · Sometimes when trying to share content from another app to Teamwire, the Teamwire app was not listed in the available options. · When a member was removed from an archived chat, the chat was automatically unarchived, which was not an expected behaviour. · A wrong info message was displayed when re-opening a closed chat. · A wrong error message was displayed when a user tried to send a message to a chat they were no longer a member of. · In some cases, a crash occurred during the login sync.
