That's still the default, but you can now explicitly choose to use your headset's mics instead - Choose the sample rate for USB audio interfaces This update also fixes a bug that would prevent synchronization in an edge case.

In this version, we improved the behaviour of the app when disk space on your device is running low. If this happens during recording, the app should now often still be able to save your current recording.
